"The League?" he repeats, a little loudly. He looks around, clears his throat and then speaks lower. "Prove it? You mean, with my magic? I'm afraid all of my spells are really more designed for ship to ship combat. I can set fire to sails or fire arcane missiles across the bow, but...beyond that, there's not much else I can do."

"I see. However, if there is a fight with her or the other two i suspect, I may need your help if they are magicians." I point out the two dwarves.

"Oh, my," Thaddeus says. "Are they also with the League? Well, if the Captain says so, I'll help any way I can. But I doubt they are mages, as dwarves cannot use magic at all. Their innate resistance to it prevents them from casting it themselves."

"Yes, I was referring to the woman. Alright. We'll see how that goes." I go to talk to the old sailors.

Gallath approaches the two old with leathery skin from years of being in the sun. The human looks to be in his fifties or so, with long black unkempt hair pulled back into a ponytail and a short beard upon his face. A bandanna attempts to keep his bangs out of his eyes. He has a bit of a nervous twitch in his left eye as he scans the deck for trouble.

The dwarf is dark-skinned with violet eyes and a long brown beard. He is shirtless and fairly muscular for his age. He seems more deep in thought than alert.

"Hello my good fellows. Are you expecting trouble?"

"I always expect trouble," the human says. "That way, I'm never disappointed."

The dwarf looks up from his thoughts. "You're the passenger we took on, right? Garish or something?"

He chuckles. "An excellent idea my friend. However, are you expecting any particular trouble today? I am Gallath."

"You never know when pirates might show up," the human says. "Most are smart enough to avoid a ship this big and powerful, but if they band together into a fleet, they can still be a threat. I'm Vincent Seaborn, the ship's gunner and chief of discipline."

"Hofur Stonewalker," the dwarf adds. "I'm the quartermaster."

"And I am Gallath, traveling adventurer and warrior. Any signs of excitement?"

"Not so far," Vincent says. "Looks to be a pretty dull trip. But you never know. We won't arrive until late tonight. Anything can happen before then."

"Aye" He says, laughing. He goes to talk to the greasy dwarf.

Gallath approaches the dwarf last. She is wearing a leather apron and is carrying a basket of oranges. She has dark skin, brown hair, and green eyes. She has some kind of tribal tattoos on her forehead and her right cheek. They look like dwarf runes, but Gallath cannot be sure.

When he approaches, she is handing out the oranges to random crew members. When she notices him, she takes one and holds it up to the elf. "Need an orange? Good for keeping scurvy away."

"On the ship, or just in general?" she asks. "Not much going on here, I guess. It's been a slow journey. But I've heard quite a bit of gossip about the state of the isles. It's a mess, as usual. They say the League is active again and causing trouble in Mond. They even say a civil war might break out over the island, but hopefully we don't get caught up in that. They say that ships full full of dead people are attacking other ships down to the south. I don't mean dead-dead people, but the kind that get back up again. How they sail ships is beyond me, though. Probably just a made up rumor to scare folk. I also heard the Soulbiters are attacking lots of Orcish settlements lately. I'd guess they're trying to capture more slaves, but who can say? They probably plan to take revenge against this ship sooner or later."
