OOC: 1d20+5(3str+2chr?) [1d20+5] = 6+5 = 11 not a very good roll.

----

Olban loses his focus as he rushes forward, his center and balance thrown off as he roughly stumbles about the floor on his way to Jason. There is almost no force behind his charge by the time he reaches his target.

Vrunar holds up his hand gesturing Olban to stop but doesn't let his eyes off Jason. "Smart call. Surrender your weapons. Now." He says both calmly and assertively.

Jason unbuckles his belt and offers his sheathed sword open-handed... I'll lead you chaps to their lodge, but that's it. You cut me loose there with my belongings. You turn me over to the watch, I'll be dead by morning and you'll never find those elves.

Olban recovers from his foolish and emotional charge, glancing at his two new allies as Jason makes his offer. "I dunno lads, I guess we should just trust him at his word aye? It's not like he's a foul piece of trash that thinks of people as nothing.

His anger still lies close to the surface as he observes the potential prisoner. "The worlds a better place with less like him in it, Is all I'm saying."

Vrunar quickly ties Jason, then searches for hidden knifes in his cloth and boot. After making sure he can't endanger them he says, "Let's make sure the we find those elves first. Until then I'll guarantee your safety." Vrunar looks to the others, his face concerned, he starts to speak but then stops and looks back at Jason, "Any quiet exit from here?"

===========================================
(OOC: Vrunar doesn't want to go with Jason through the crowd for two reasons: 1. Jason might call for help. 2. Someone might know Jason and warn those who hired him.
Since he doesn't trust Jaon won't double cross them he doesn't mention his concerns to the others loudly.)

Not that I'm aware of mate. Tisn't one of my regular hangouts. Just a place to get off the street and lay low for a bit.

"Fine." Vrunar looks at the other and asks, "Do you have hooded robes or anything that will make our exit with Jason a little bit more discrete?"

OOC: Vrunar will probably remember when they first spotted Jason, he had easily identifiable features well covered and obscured. It was only a sleeve slipping while climbing a ladder that revealed his albinoism and tatoo from the Zhentarim.

Utilizing Jason's own gear and clothing, which he apparently selected for the purpose of concealing his identity. The group is able to exit the Three Pearls without much notice. The few taking notice of the hooded individual being closely escorted from the building, seeming unwilling or uninterested with inquiry or action.

Vrunar, Mortimer, and Olban cautiously travel the streets of Waterdeep with their prisoner. They arrive at the Halls of Justice just as a carriage stops and deposits Navi and Arnora along with two strangers and two prisoners.

Feel free to make any final interactions here then Continue in Chapter 5

(OOC: Sorry it took me so long to get back in on this.)

Olban releases a final snarl at their prisoners back as they reach their objective before turning to Vrunar and saying. "We need info from him yeah? Cause if not, I'm just saying, I'll end him here and now. Make it real simple for everyone, there isn't even a reward on him is there? Just giving you options, friend." He says, his face had been twisted into a particularly gruesome look with all the angry looks; his gash of a mouth breaks into a light grin as he finishes speaking.

(OOC: Moving along to chapter five, on the assumption that Vrunar doesn't want the guy gutted right here; even if he is a Zhent, heh.)

Vrunar raises an eyebrow at Olban reaction. "Hmmm... right. We still need information from him and I gave my word I'll keep him alive." After they cross the door of the Temple he adds, "Obviously, justice will be done here, and his help would be taken into account."
