A cursory glance inside the small alcove between the two secret doors reveals a small stash of torches of lanterns which can easily be lit from the sconces within the jakes. There is no indication as to who may have placed them there, but it is obvious that the passage sees common use.

"An Elf, named Navi, sent me down here. However I have a few questions for her that I've a need to be answered and shall do as ye say." Replies Olban before continuing. " I do have a lantern if ye need a light source"

Olban will offer his lantern and some oil as well as a light if needed before he returns from whence he came in search of Navi.

Vrunar lights a torch and searches the slime for fresh footprints. "We will start follow Jason track slowly. Please get Navi here as soon as possible." he tell Olban.

OOC: Sorry for the delays. Some RL issues came up.

The walkway ledges are coated in a thin sheen of slime, making them "firm ground" for purposes of tracking. Once Vrunar examines a few feet past the area wiped clean by the creatures' passage, he easily finds a single set of footprints leading off into the sewers. The trail appears to go with the flow of the sewers.

The junction room which the secret door opens into does not have a surface shaft. A primary sewer line connects on the "A" side; two secondary lines connect on the "B" side; and two primary lines connect on the "C" side. The flow appears to be traveling into the primary line on the "C" side which is closest to the "D" side. The stench is terrible but bearable. Water dripping and splashing echoes through the sewer lines.

"Mortimer. Here are his tracks. I think we should follow. He is our main lead. On the other hand we might catch him in this tavern again tomorrow. Do you think we can manage against the beasts that infest this place?" Vrunar consults with Mortimer.

OOC: Gave Olban the choice of continuing here or searching for Navi. She is currently a few hours ahead of you in game time.

Cautiously you travel through the noisy and rank sewer for 30 minute. After several near slips and falls, the line leads into another junction room with a surface shaft.. The trail ends at the rungs of the shaft.

"I can manage, not sure if that means eliminating all that we may encounter. Do you think we stand a chance at locating our quarry?" Mortimer responds

"It was easy to follow thus far." Vrunar says. "Look! The trails ends here. He probably climbed this shaft out."
Vrunar sheats his sword, rubs the slime from his boots on a rung, climbs up and carefully touches the lead. If nothing harm him he opens the shaft and peeks outside. If it is a street and is clear he will step out and see if Mortimer needs help climbing after him.

The shaft opens onto an intersection of alley ways. Peering around to get his bearings Vrunar spies a sign on a building to the south that reads "Three Pearls Nightclub".

Vrunar gives a hand and pulls Mortimer up. After closing the shaft again he goes to the "Three Pearls Nightclub" thinking to himself 'So... maybe here the password will be of use."

As you approach, you can hear the doorman. It's just three coppers to get in right now. The main acts come on later this evening. Right now you just got some walkin amateurs and few of the regulars. (Assuming you pay the cover.) Entering you find that The Three Pearls is one huge room (plus jakes, opening off a cloak hall down one side). It has a low ceiling and is already hot and smoky by late afternoon. Stout low-backed wooden benches radiate outwards from the raised central stage, which is lit from above. The central stage has a conical
raised ceiling above it. The crowd is still sparse. A grey haired bard sings a well known song about King Azoun slaying Yamun Khahan and turning back the Tuigan Horde.

At the door Vrunar pays and gives some extra fee to the doorman asking, "Do you know if Jason arrived? It is hard to miss him. He is albino."

(OOC: Vrunar pays extra <5? = enough as tip but not too much to make it look as it is too important for them to find Jason> coppers. )

The albino chap? Yeah he just went in. Told him he needed to go to the jakes first thing and clean that muck off his shoes. You fellas need to do the same.

Once inside Vrunar rushes Mortimer to find the albino. He throws a quick glance around the room and if nothing pops up goes quickly to the lavatory.

This trip to the jakes proves more rewarding, as you find your prey alone cleaning his boots. He briefly glances at you when you enter, but takes no heed.
