Ouragana looks at Val. "Fighting is easy for you, you're strong enough to win fights. I would be long dead if I had tried to fight only" she snarls. She turns abruply and rejoins Sierra. "Captain, you haven't yet answered my offer" she tells her.

"What, the water thing?" Sierra asks Ouragana. "Yeah, go nuts, kid. Or are you talking about something else now?"

"....Okay," Jocelyn says as she glances over at Val with a shrug.

Terra wrote:"A pity, I was looking forward to some shoreleave. But I guess I can wait one more day."
"Instead shoreleave you got short leave." he smiles, "but you can have some fun on board too. By the way, dinner sounds great but where can I... err.. we put our stuff?"

"Hello there" Gallath says as he bends over to pet the dog. His fingers find the bump. "What's this now?"

"Oh, right," Terra says. "Alright, follow me and I'll show you to the guest quarters. Looks like you're getting some roommates, Gallath."

To any who follow, she leads them downstairs to the next deck. "Galley is right through that door," she says, pointing at a door right next to the staircase they just descended from. "Meals are at daybreak and nightfall, but if you can get on the cook's good side, she might whip you up something at other times of the day. But fair warning, nobody ever gets on her good side, so..." Terra shrugs. "Smells like breakfast will be ready in a few minutes." Indeed, a delightful scene is emanating from the galley, even with the door closed.

"Anyway, guest quarters are right through here." She leads them to a spacious room with five cots. Next to one of the cots is a wooden bird perch. Resting on it is a hawk, its blinders on. "Hmm, looks like there aren't enough cots to go around. Well, there are more one level below, in the crew's quarters, if you don't mind the lack of privacy."

Ouragana looks bewildered at Sierra's answer. "Go nuts?" she asks. "I'm sorry, Captain, but I don't know what that expression means."

OOC: Where is Thaddeus's office?

"It means you have permission, Oura," Jocelyn says with a shake of her head before she follows after Terra. "So, who wants to sleep with the rest of the crew?"

Gallath pets his hawk. "Trust me" he says to the others. "Breakfast is to die for."

The captain looks confused, too. "That's a human expression, isn't it? I thought I was using it right." She shrugs. "Well, anyway, yeah, it means you have full permission."

Ouragana smiles at Sierra. "These expressions change from area to area and through time. It wasn't familiar to me."
As they arrive at the quarters, Ouragana offers: "If Thaddeus lets me study in his room, I can sleep with the crew."

Ouragana goes to find Thaddeus. She wants to discuss with him which spells would be most useful (so that his and hers are complementary) and learn hers for the day. Her first choice would be Shield, Sleep, Irritation and Web, but she is open to suggestions (and to learning new spells). Since they can#t pick up merchandise in Delmos, she won't need alligator's tears this day.

Her main goal when going shopping in Narin will be to buy an addition to her necklace for about 50 to 55 PP (say an ornate clasp with a precious stone) to reduce her encumbrance. she will also give Bearos his waterskin back.

Gallath dumps his bow and arrows off, just keeping his short sword. He goes to talk with the obvious leader of the party.
