Chapter 2: Temple of Torm: Temple of Terror

[Jenara]

"One moment." She responds, "Who is your Master Kata. Tell me." She demands her face forming a frown.

"The problem is simple, someone is taking the Sun Elves, those who carry noble blood.." She pauses, "Those with noble blood are taken, I fear for the purposes of making more creatures like her.. We need to know what part she plays in this, was it to keep us occupied, or perhaps was it to carry out kidnappings of her own?" Realising she had just imparted lots of information she looks back for a brief moment. "Two Children of the Dancien family were taken recently, they are important, Amora the girl who rests in a room nearby was escorting them... She was taken and abused."

[Nuke]

Mortimer stands and watches. He is a little confused, but his patience is deep.

Navi hears Kata's thoughts once again. "Are you foolish enough to believe that I will betray my master just because I enlightened you with the obvious child? Torturing me will be a waste of your time. Time which you have so little of ? Now slay me if you will, it will be much kinder than the death my master would give me for betrayal. But fear not Navi. You will most certainly come to know my master just as your cousin's whelp Sinistra once did, and your Danicen brood will be doing in short order. Come now! Quit wasting time and strike me down. Or would you prefer I tell you the special way my master treats the Ealoeth children who are brought before him? Here. Let me begin..."

Seeing Kata's and Navi's faces Vrunar can only imagine the exchange of words between them, but one thing is obvious, 'It is not going well...' he comes close, looks for a second at Navi, then he stands over Kata, lifts her chin and looks at her straight. "Look beast, creatures like you usually thinks only of themselves. If you prove me wrong it will be a delight. Help us and you kindness will be rewarded. Don't help us and we will use any possible method to pry your mind, and this temple has long history of dealing with creatures like you. Consider this last try on my behalf to help you."

[Jenara]

Shaking her head Navi realases the girl, "We could of had so much fun." She comments with a sigh. "Mortimer, make her talk, we need to know who her master Faelar is. And what they are doing to the young elves." Stepping back she looks over at the rest of the group. "Vrundar, she is lost, the pain will be worthwhile but not worth watching." Leaning in close and waves.. "Bye bye."

"I am taking Arnora to where the children were taken, please accompany me." Looking over at the strange winged creature she says nothing. With that she walks over to the piled items Kata had on her, grabbing the belt pouch "Mortimer, we will return shortly, Xiindor, please stay with him, and watch her, I'd rather she suffered, rather than die " With that she heads to the doorway.

[Nuke]

Mortimer

Mortimer begins speaking again. "You heard the question. We need the answer. Soon."

Mortimer reaches up to both collar bones seeking the pressure point before slowly beginning to apply pressure with his thumbs. As the muscles begin to tense, he moves ever so slightly towards the neck to where the real pain begins.

"I know many others, this is just the warm up." He says to Kata. "Just answer the questions."

Before joining Navi Vrunar tells Mortimer and Xiindor, "You should beware of her. She can manipulate your mind to do as she wills. Maybe it is done by a lock of gaze. You should check on each other and if something is suspicious just gag her again and leave the room. She might want to make you fight each other, beware of that too. Now, don't forget that justice does not contradict compassion. They can work together. May the Lord of the Dragons strengthen your hands and souls and you manage to get the information we need in order to save the kidnapped." he glances again at Kata, shaking his head and head to the door after Navi.

[Jenara]

"Agreed, it was more than likely a spell, rather than a natural talent." Navi adds, standing by the doorway she opens the pouch, Katas blade wedged in her belt. "I wonder what we have in here.." She mutters.

Standing by the door with Vrunar, Navi looks inside Kata's pouch as they go to fetch Arnora. (( continue in Scene of the Crime thread ))

"Arrghh!" Kata wails as Mortimer begins to apply pressure to key points of her body. "No! I will not betray Lord Faelar! You will have to kill me first! Auuggh!"

[Jenara]

Navi coo's softly, sliding the sword into the pouch with a slow movement, before she slips it onto her belt. "Amora has been hurt, badly, she was abused by men. Do not be surprised if she is scared of you." Navi says in a soft voice, "Keep your distance at first, I chose you because you are the.. Nicest of the bunch."

"Coming?" She asks, heading to Amoras room.

(Move to scene of the crime)

[Nuke]

Mortimer

"You can do better than that dear." The monk says as he lets his left thumb find the collarbone. Exerting swift pressure, he is satisfiaed with a loud snap as the bone gives way.

[mltillis]

"No! Please! You don't understand. I dare not betray Lord Fealar." Kata thrashes against her shackles and chains before freezing with a blood curdling scream that reverbs thru the room. "AAAAIIIIEEEEE!" Sobbing she shouts. "Ealoeth! Fealar Ealoeth! First born of Vestele! Scion of House Ealoeth" The girl then falls silent, blacking out from shock as her wounds reopen from the struggle against her bonds.

Not wanting to be near the tortured beast, Egewulf moves down the hall, back toward the entrance they used.

Mortimer

The monk is a bit unimpressed that the task was fairly simple. Heck, it didn't even take both collar bones. "I assume that was the answer we were looking for. I have no idea who that might be, any thoughts?""

Suddenly realizing he is standing with Egewulf and the rest for a while he looks at fainted Kata with alarm.
"What happened here?" he demands, moving quickly towards Kata and lay hands on her concentrating healing her just to regain consciousness. "Mortimer, I asked you to show some compassion. Did you manage to learn anything?"

(OOC: Vrunar lay hands for 1 hp at a time until Kata regains consciousness. If I'm not mistaken he had 12 HP to heal a day and used some on Navi back in the Inn. So I'm not sure how many left. mltillis could you check please?
Vrunar would wait for Mortimer/Egewulf/Xiindor to update him regarding the questioning (is that politically correct or what ) and only then speak with Egewulf about Arnora.
Sorry for the repetition it's just Vrunar walked between the two threads.)
