As the crowd thins, Tulbas seeks Nora and says in excitement, "Wow! I feel almost reborn! It's good to have something to believe in. But why did you call Fistandantilus the Dark One? I thought Darewind's presents his healing powers to bestow good upon the people."

"An old name, from when he was mortal," Nora explains. "People fear what they don't understand, and the people of Istar feared him. A pity. Had they not, perhaps the place would not have been destroyed."

"And now Fistandantilus is a patron of goodness? I'm glad to hear. Another matter, can I be present in the woman questioning? And when do you plan to contact her father?"

"Good and Evil are relative terms," Nora says. "Mortals apply them to things because we are too simple to see the grand cosmic plan of things. Applying those terms to a god is meaningless. As for the girl's father, we've already sent word to her agents. We have been promised 10,000 steel pieces for turning her over to them."

"You are right of course, it's just difficult to think in non-human terms. So... what's next? Do we have a plan rescuing Darewind? Do you need me for more tasks? Oh, I almost forgot, can I speak with the girl? And about following Fistandantilus, I assume there is written material I can study? Preachings to attend?"

"Once we have the money from turning in the girl, we'll start planning Darewind's escape," Nora says. She shakes her head. "I will interrogate the girl myself. As a new initiate, your duty is to find new converts within the city. I suggest you start with your family, if you have any. Then move on to friends, before trying strangers. There's no written material yet; Darewind was working on some when he was arrested by the Seekers. Once we free him, he can finish."

"Hmm...very well. I suppose you deserve a nice reward," Nora says. She escorts him back to her office, where the bag remains. The woman is still there, too, tied up and gagged, with Biggs and Wedge standing guard over her.

Nora picks up the bag and hands it to Tulbas.

Tulbas takes the bag, then throws a glance at the woman. "Well, I suppose I'll return tomorrow. Will she still be here? I mean to return her spellbook."

Nora nods. "It should take a couple of days for us to work out a deal," she says. "Remember to bring back at least two potential converts tomorrow. Good luck."

Tulbas takes the bag. When he exits the wherehouse, he starts on his way to his uncle's store. Then he stops, as a thought come to his mind. He decides to check the house they found the girl in. If there is no one there, maybe searching the house would prove usefull. If there is someone there, he might know something about the girl, but then he might recognize her backback. Tulbas stops, hides the backpack under his robes, then decides to go and watch on the house from distance. As he goes towards the house he checks from time to time if he is being followed.

Upon returning to the house, Tulbas finds the door still wide open. It occurs to him they never shut it after leaving. He can hear people inside, causing a ruckus; knocking things over, spilling out drawers and boxes. Likely, they are looters. Judging from their voices, Tulbas guesses there are at least 3-5 of them.

Tulbas feels some regret, not searching the house earlier. He peeks at the cracks and windows of the house trying to assess the danger thinking to himself, 'If they are not armed warriors I'll try to scare them off.'

Peeking through a window, Tulbas counts at least four of them. They are not heavily armed--no armor, for instance. But they are carrying weapons--clubs and daggers. They appear desperate as they turn the place upside down, grabbing anything of value and shoving it into sacks.

Tulbas decides to run and get help. As the warehouse is only few hundred meters along the street, he hopes the looters will still be busy when he returns with reinforcement. He runs to the warehouse and asks the guards to call Biggs and Wedge urgently.
