"Let me see what I can do to help," Noah offers, taking his holy icon in hand. He starts using healing spells, starting with Jocelyn, then moving on to Areilon and finally Val. Jocelyn is fully healed, Areilon comes very close, and Val improves the least amount, but it's still better than nothing.

Those who left belongings in their room find they are still present. The window has been hastily boarded up, the mechanical spiders are gone, and the mattress has been removed. The broken glass has been swept up, but the remaining damage--the dent in the wall and the oil stains on the floor--still remain. But their stuff is all present and accounted for.

Brock nods when baths are asked for. "Aye, baths are the least I can do for you, since you avenged my daughter. "Janjadel, get on it. Four baths."

"By myself?" the waiter complains.

"Aye, all the more reason to hurry up!" Brock counters.

Sighing, the waiter grabs a bucket and heads to the nearest well.

When Ouragana offers the wand, Brock holds up his hand. "Nah, keep it, lass. It won't do an old dwarf like me any good, and no sense letting it collect dust."

Once Janjadel has filled the tubs, Brock escorts them downstairs into a basement. There are several small rooms, each one containing a copper tub now filled with water. There's a full length mirror on the wall and next to it is a counter. On the counter is a bar of soap, a washcloth, and a couple of towels. He offers each girl a bathroom of their own. "Enjoy."

Thanking Noah with a smile Arei heads down to the baths.

"Thank you." Bowing to both Brock and the Waiter she continues, "Thank you very much." Pulling off her sword belt and tunic and casting the clothing it into the room she pauses, "We are pushed for time, the vessel leaves in two hours.. I need a change of clothes, Brock could you perhaps arrange for a new shirt? I will pay of course." She asks, standing in her ripped shirt, hands at her side.
" Kid never learned to clear a room. Doors and corners, I told him. Doors and corners."

Ouragana excuses herself while the baths are prepared and Noah casts the healing spells on her friends. She sits in a quiet corner of the Common room and studies the "mending" spell. When the girls go down to the baths, she offers to them: "I could mend the piece of clothing that you cherish most now, and do the rest over the next few days".

Jocelyn thanks Noah for the healing before she goes to take her bath.

"Just mend the shirt, I guess," she says to Ouragana before she goes to take her bath. "Can you clean them too?" she asks.

"Aye, lass, I can send the lad to get you new clothes, if you like. Just tell me what you need and you can pay me back when they arrive," Brock says.

"I'm not sure" Ouragana confesses. "The spell is meant to make them look like new, but I have never seen anyone do it on dirty clothes yet."

She casts Mending on Jocelyn's shirt before she goes to take her bath.

"Thank you." She says, giving the description of a plain white linen shirt, and a black leather skirt.

After Ouragana's spell, Jocelyn's clothes are completely mended again, albeit still oil and blood stained.

The waiter is sent off to get any new clothes anyone wants.

(OOC: Now here's a question. What is Val wearing? No mention of clothing in her description, just that she isn't wearing shoes or gloves. I figure she's got to be wearing something under her armor to prevent chafing.)

"Things are always more work than you think" Ouragana mutters when she sees Jocelyn's mended but dirty clothes. With an abjuration cantrip, she cleans them. Another cantrip cleans her own clothes. "What about yours, Val?" she then asks the half-orc.

"Uh, thanks," Jocelyn says, looking down at her clothing. Seemingly happy with the results, so goes to take her bathing, using pretty much all that was provided to her to take such a bath (soap, perfume, etc...).

ooc: I'm sure there is something under the armor, but it must stand up to water well, and dry quickly. Wool would be my first thought, but that might be warm. How about a coarse woven wool fabric? Or, I am open to suggestions.

Val responds, "No damage to my armor. But thanks anyway."

She enters the bathroom and is surprised. She has never had a warm bath in her life.

The four each spend over half an hour in the tub (any longer and the water will get too cold), scrubbing their skin with soap and washing their hair. By the time any one of them steps out, the water in the tub is a brackish brown.

Jocelyn's clothes are now completely mended and clean, as well; and Ouragana's are cleaned. When Areilon steps back out, she finds a plain white linen shirt and a black leather skirt waiting for her. The total comes to 2 gold pieces.

Pulling the new clothes on her body Arei dries her hair for a short while before strapping her her sword belt, and ensures Tesla is clean, carefully rubbing the hilt.

Dressed she steps into the common room, her key in her hand "I owe you money." She says to Brock, reaching into her belt pouch, "Thank you for everything."
