As a DM myself (for over 15 years now), I know full well how difficult it can be maintaining a game when you have more troublesome worries to deal with. What is supposed to be a fun game of leisure can quickly become a draining chore.

So really, it's up to you. If you think you are still up to running this game, then by all means. If you decide to change your mind, though, I don't think anyone here could blame you, considering the circumstances.

My father died back in June, so I understand how it feels to just kind of forget about everything.

I'll leave it up to you in the end. I think we all understand if you are going to be a bit patchy during this time.

I'm going to take things a bit slow at the beginning here, both to establish the setting and so as to not overwhelm myself. On a side note, we might have another interested player - I'll keep you all posted.

It has before, yes. It's not terribly frequent; maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I have no idea why. Usually it comes back up in a few days, though.

Yeah, don't fret it. All three of us are involved in several other games, too, so it's not like we can't get our roleplay 'fix.'

Hey guys, a little news -

We have a new player joining us - NoTrammeling. I think you all know him, but he should be dropping by in the campaign board here to introduce his character. I should be working him into the game as soon as I can.

On a more unfortunate note, we've had some... complications in real life. I'm probably going to be away for a few days. I'm sorry for the delay. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to pay more attention to the game.

It's been over two months now. I think it's probably been long enough to conclude betaraybill isn't returning.
