"How can you survive out here? Did you have a home?" Hazel asks, sheaving her blade and putting the dagger in its sheaf. "Name is Hazel by the way. I will let you go, frankly taking you home seems like a sensible plan."

The girl claims down abit as the blade is put away. " I will go home alone, I don't need a supervisor. "

The girl stands up, rubbing her wrist and she glances around. She slowly reaches for the dagger, keeping her eyes on Hazel as she did so. " I refuse to leave without this."

"Take it." Hazel picks it up from beside Night, throwing it end on end the dagger lands near her feet. "Be safe." She adds, stepping back and seeing what she will do.

The woman reaches down and picks up the blade. She then turns and starts walking away. Making an effort to kick the dead bandit. She would then continue to walk in a direction that led to nothing of knowledge.

Giving a little sigh, Hazel moves the bodies away from the road, taking a moment she then remounts Night and heads back off in the direction she was traveling.

As she rides she looks for a source of water, something clean to fill her waterskins with.

Riding at a slow Canter once more, she brings the horse towards the birds, knowing that such things usually indicate water or something else...

An old mostly dried up lake lay just over the hill. A few puddles of slightly muddy water remained.

Pulling Night back to a simple trot she comes upon the lake, her eyes scanning the area looking for whatever she can see in this harsh landscape.
