I looked at the wilderness warrior kit, would a slight mod be ok?
I want him to be form a regular human civ, but is disenchanted with the apparent hypocrisy of said civ, and left to live in the wilderness. If any one is old enough to have seen "Jeremiah Jonson", that is the basic outline of my char.

Oh, and following your suggestion, here is the rearrangement of the stats.

Str 11, Con 13, Dex 11, Int 14, Wis 12, Cha 8

What's the mod you propose for the Wilderness Warrior kit?

He is from a normal civilization, not an outlaying tribe.

Oh, okay. Sure, that's fine. So he'll be a civilized human instead of a barbarian then.

I usually average out the XP of the current PCs and use that for any new PCs coming in. The current average of XP between the four PCs is 25,524. So that is how much XP you will start with. If you are going with a fighter, that will make you level 5.

HP for first level is maxed out. Again, if you go for a fighter, that means 10 HP. You can roll 1d10 for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th levels. (So 4d10+10, basically.)

Any other questions, feel free to ask.

You can use the starter money for fighters to determine your current amount of money. But you don't have to use that money to buy equipment. Go ahead and pick out whatever you want for your character in terms of gear. It's assumed at fifth level, you could have afforded it by now.

Here is what I have come up with for his Bio.

Physical: Jeremy is 5'8" of rugged mountain-man with dark brown hair and blue eyes. He has a full face beard and mustache.
Dressed head to toe in the skins of the animals he killed to survive it is obvious he has spent more time in the woods than with man.

Personality: He is reclusive, but not totally unsociable. He disdains the hypocrisy of so-called civilization and tends to stay in the wild.
He is some times gruff, some times caring, and always painfully honest.

He's missing a WP slot. He starts with 4, then should have earned a new one at 3rd level, so 5 total. Two into short bow, one into dagger, one into short sword. So that leaves one left, unless you want to intentionally leave it empty for now.

On the flip side, he should have one less NWP. He started with 3, earned one at 3rd level, and then got 4 more from his INT bonus (then his two free NWPs for his kit, Endurance and Survival). That equals 8, but you have filled 9 slots. (Remember, Tracking takes 2 slots. If you want to keep that one, you'll need to drop something else.)

He has four language slots, but you only took Common. Did you want to fill the other three or leave them empty for now?

Other than that, it looks good. He just needs a backstory now. (If you don't wish to make that public, you can send it to me privately over PM). Then we just need to fit him into the game and play can commence.

3 in short bow, 1 for prof. 2 for spec.
Removed Mountaineering

We get the languages AND the extra proficiencies?

Um, Elf, Dwarf, and ? Any suggestions?
