By the way, I may as well ask this now: Anyone leaving for the holidays? Past experience reminds me that at least some of the population of Planet tends to take some time off in the latter half of December.

If so, let me know. If enough people are taking a break, I'll put the games on hiatus until everyone returns.

We are going to be intermittent from the 20th, but will probably manage to post once a day.

I will be largely without internet from 26th Dec to 2nd Jan. I could ask my son if I can use his blackberry, but since he has to pay for the connection, I don't really like it.

I must admit that I'm at a loss here. I probably haven't read enough adventure books. I have no idea what Babushka might sensibly do, that won't end with her getting captured and thrown into prison with her friends...

Maybe just have her hide somewhere and see if an opportunity arises so we can move things forward then?

I had hoped for Babushka to find out where the prisoners and animals were kept, then create a diversion if necessary and slip in.

I didn't expect all the animals to be stabled indoors, for example. I thought there might be just sheds in a pasture to give them some protection from bad weather.
And I had the naive idea that a prison building might somehow stand out.

I'm no farmer or anything, myself. So I may be way off. But generally animals are depicted being brought inside barns (and their like) at night or during bad weather, at least in the media.
