Imani moves towards the dragon, her swords drawn. She wants to avoid the dragon's mouth at all costs, so she tries to move to where she is either near his side or behind him.

Temeral shoots off like a harpoon, swimming with the same skill as a Dimernesti thanks to his magic ring. He maneuvers around the dragon, though, stopping just short of its field of dragonfear unknowingly as he draws his sais and prepares to attack.

Jerrard completes his spell, and suddenly three more illusionary Jerrards appear around him, making it difficult to determine which one is the real Jerrard.

Seera swims up to the dragon and hesitates. "No, I won't be intimidated!" she says, and swallows before praying to her deity. " Abbuku the Fisher, hear our plea!" she calls, her eyes glowing with an eerie blue light. "Grant us your strength against this monster that would threaten our children!" A wave of warmth spreads through anyone within sixty feet of her, but sadly the Dimernesti are too spread apart to make the most of the spell.

Furthermore, the spell does little to help the rookie warriors among the Shoal Elves. One by one, they swim toward the dragon, are affected by the dragonfear, and then immediately turn and flee at full speed, never looking back. "No, stop!" their leader calls. "You must stand and fight!" Alas, only the more veteran warriors are able to control their fear enough to stay.

Those that do remain, however, are largely ineffective. Not one of them is able to pierce the dragon's hide, save Qwendeel. The mage, who stays far enough from the dragon to avoid its dragonfear aura, blasts three magical missiles at it.

After Locky casts her spell of protection on Imani, the desert princess moves along the ocean floor in a circular path, much like Temeral. She moves as easily as she does on land, due to her magical ring.

The dragon laughs in derision as he watches most of the Dimernesti flee. "Where are you going, my little fish?" he asks. "Will you not fight? Haha!" He swings at one Dimernesti, who is able to just in time swim out of the way. The dragon then turns his attention to the leader. "You have broken our contract, elf! For that, I will devour your children as soon as I finish with you!" He swipes at the leader, slicing into the elf's flesh like it was tissue paper. Before the elf can recover, the dragon then bites him, nearly severing him in half.

"BREEGAN!" Seera calls out in terror.

"Save him, Seera!" another Dimernesti calls out. "I'll hold him off!"

Imani watches as most of the elves flee in fear. ~Not good,~ she thinks to herself. Taking a deep breath of her own, she makes more of a beeline towards the dragon so that she attack with her swords.

Moving to the same side of the Dragon, as Imani, Jerrard shoots off two magic missiles when he is in range, his mirror images move with him.

1d4+1=3, 1d4+1=2 5 damage

(Spell Range is 60yrds+10/lvl so 100yrds, but can he actually see the Dragon? If he can't he wont let the spell go!)

Locky moves with Jerrard, invisible her aim is to heal the leader, but she needed Jerrard for that.

Jerrard could easily blast the dragon from relative safety, if only he could see! The range of the light of the pebble Seera gave him extends only sixty feet, however. So he is forced to move closer, Locky right at his heels. Once he can see the dragon, he chants his incantation and launches two more magic missiles at the behemoth, each scoring a direct hit.

"Abbuku," Seera pleas. "Please protect me from those who would seek to harm me," she prays, then starts to swim toward Breegan, hoping she can reach him before it's too late.

Temeral darts toward the dragon's head, landing on top of it. Showing no fear at all, he plunges both of his sai into the beast's head. However, neither weapon can penetrate its thick hide!

Qwendeel attempts to buy the group some time with a well-placed spell, but it has no effect on the dragon. He curses futilely.

Meanwhile, shrugging off the dragonfear with great will power, Imani approaches and waits for it to swim close enough for her to strike. She manages to cut into it with her first scimitar, but the second is deflected by its tough hide.

The dragon roars, not having nearly as much fun as he was a minute ago. He swipes at one Dimernesti, but misses and gets his paw stuck in a coral reef. It then swings at another sea elf with its other paw, scoring a grazing blow. Finally, it bites at the Kagonesti, severely wounding him.

The Dimernesti all continue to attack it with all of their might, some actually managing to get in a few hits. The dragon seems to grow angrier by the moment, and starts to suck in water into its gullet.

Imani knows what is coming, but thankfully she isn't exactly in front of the dragon. She wants to call out a warning to the others, but underwater she can't talk. All she can continue to do is attack the damnable thing.

Jerrard curses, seeing the Dragon inhale he knew something was going on, did sea dragons have the same as land dragons?

"Locky, The dragon is going to try and breathe on me, we have to move." The Mage grabs the Kender and kicks for all of his might, pulling her onto his back he swims over and round behind the Dragon, his three mirror images following him.

---------------
1d10=9

Int Check: 1d20=13 Pass

Jerrard is barely carrying anything, with Locky he will be carrying no more than 120lbs, thus he is able to swim at 40yrds (120feet) but with a 1/2 strength check, 1d20=7 Pass, he can swim at 240feet.

Qwendeel releases another volley of magic missiles that all hit the dragon, causing it considerable pain. Temeral, on the other hand, is having far less luck. He strikes again and again, but his little sai do not even scratch the dragon's hide.

Imani is by no means a dragon expert. She had heard tales, though, that the mighy blues in her homeland could breathe bolts of lightning. Could this dragon do the same? Is that why it was swallowing so much water? She wanted to shout a warning, but was unable to. The dragon slowly turns its head toward her and she realized that regardless, she had little time.

Moving quickly under the Free Action enchantment, she ran to the dragon's stuck claw. She hops onto it and runs up its arm to its head. Before the dragon can even register what is happening, it is too late. She slams her scimitar right into its left eye, causing it to bellow and shake. She holds on for dear life as it wildly flails about. In the chaos, Jerrard grabs Locky and runs for it, unable to swim due to the large bubble of air surrounding him, certain that the dragon had intended to target him and the kender. Seera swims down and casts a cure spell on Breegan, saving him at the last minute.

The other Dimernesti start to swim a safe distance to get away from the dragon's death throes. Finally, it settles and drops to the ocean floor, kicking up a massive amount of sand and silt into the water.

The loud crash causes Jerrard to stop and turn, and he realizes the dragon has fallen.

After a few moments of ominous silence, the Dimernesti throw up a cheer of victory.

Imani stares down at the dead dragon under her, her hands still gripping her scimitar. ~I killed a dragon?~ she asks herself in disbelief. Slowly, she pulls her scimitar out of the dragon's head and climbs back down to the ocean floor. Honestly, she was still in shock that she was still alive than anything else.

Locky ushers Temeral to her and casts cure light on him. "Wow!" she exclaims.

"Fools!" Qwendeel shouts, swimming closer. "Not only did you not rescue our children, you instead forced our hand in fighting the dragon!"

"Qwendeel..," Breegan says weakly.

"And as a result, our leader nearly died!" the mage continues.

"That's enough, Qwendeel," Breegan says. Seera helps shoulder him so he can stay on his feet. "What's done is done. The dragon is dead, our children are safe, and nobody died. And even had I died, I'd say it was a fair price to pay for the freedom or our people and safety of our children."

"Hmph!" Qwendeel says, but nothing more.

"We should return them to the air cave, before their potions wear off," Breegan says to his assembled people. Then, to the party, he adds, "Once we have had time to recover, we will see to it you get a portion of the dragon's horde as reward for your efforts. Furthermore, we will take you anywhere you wish to go."

==========

Locky casts Cure Light Wounds on Temeral, restoring (1d8): 5 HP.

"I collected a few items i thought might be useful, they should be considered in my share." he adds honestly.
