Imani unleashes another flurry of attacks upon the Baaz in front of her, but she seems almost distracted as she watches the vizier go down so suddenly. Did that mean they actually succeeded in their task?

Furious at their master being shot, the Baaz attack like demons from the Abyss. Jerrard, Ulster and Babushka all take bad hits in the process.

Realizing she was, once again, on the brink of death, the gnome ranger decided to take matters in her own hands this time. Reaching for the Potion of Extra Healing Jerrard had given her, she takes a quick quaff. Instantly, her most recent wound heals completely, as does one of her earlier injuries improve.

Imani continues to duel with her opponent, but her moves are too sloppy. The draconian easily parries or blocks each attack with ease.

Jerrard strikes at his own opponent with his short sword, calling for Thuskar's help. However, Thuskar is able to provide little in the way of aid, as his blows only slice through air.

Ulster has better luck. He cuts into his opponent, then again. The draconian cries out then goes suddenly silent as he transforms into pure stone. Fortunately, Ulster is able to pull back his blade before it gets trapped inside.

Finally, Locky manages to stab her opponent right in the left arm, causing him to howl in agony. It also makes him considerably angrier.

Locky strikes at the creature once more, trying to get this one back and aid Babuskha if she can.

Jerrard tries to attack the creature in front of him once more, he was saving his magic missles for the Vizer, but regrets the move when his blows fall very short.

Imani gets her head back in the game after the shock of the vizier going down. She knows the others are in trouble at this point, but she still has her own Baaz to deal with, so she concentrates on trying to bring him down.

Feeling better now, Babushka draws out her two favored daggers, one of which grows to the size of a short sword once readied. She attacks her opponent, slicing into his leg and breaking a few brassy scales in the process. Ulster attempts to aid her, but the draconian easily parries his attack.

Jerrard and Thuskar work together with his opponent, but to no avail. The Baaz dodges each attack, then manages to cut Jerrard across his brow. The Armor spell protecting him shatters then, leaving the wizard vulnerable. The Baaz grins menacingly now that he knows he will have an easier time hitting the Solamnic.

Imani parries an attack, then with an x-strike, lops off the Baaz's head. It, now stone, rolls across the balcony. The headless draconian's body also turns to stone, frozen in the pose it held upon death.

Finally, Locky evades an attack and then jabs her hoopak's point into the Baaz's stomach. He lurches, but still manages to remain upright. Although severely wounded, he's not out of fight just yet.

Imani turns to help Locky with the Baaz that is on her, but the Baaz is easily able to avoid her attacks.

While Imani's and Thuskar's former opponents crumble to dust, Locky's opponent slashes her again. The kender, however, is unable to hit the Baaz, nor is the Khurish swordswoman aiding her.

Babushka's opponent swings his sword at her neck, in hopes of lopping her head off. The gnome ducks at the last second, losing only a few stray hairs instead. Quickly counterattacking, she slams her magically enlarged dagger into the Baaz's chest, pulling it back out just as he turns to stone.

Meanwhile, Jerrard parries a blow and then delivers his own, but finds himself similarly blocked. It is Thuskar who saves him, slashing the Baaz downward. It turns to stone before even hitting the ground.

Upon seeing that all of the Baaz are either dust or turned to stone, except for one, Imani turns her attention to her sister wife. "Ulster and Babushka, help Locky," she says before she runs towards the alter to help free Syriana.

Babushka turns around and attacks Baaz No. 1, the only one still standing.

Locky strikes again at the creature before her with her Hoopak, striking with short jabs.

"Thuskar, let us stop this evil." sheaving his blade he prepares his only offensive spell, as he strides over to the fallen man. "Imani move her slowly, the altar maybe trapped."
