FC1 - CH 1: Welcome to Sturnheim

"I'm limited on the amount of money I can spend though," Tavi admits sadly. "I have my two sisters and myself to take care of. Of course, they are actually faring better than me at the moment, now that I think about it."

[JadedDM]

"Well, if your fortune should change, do let me know. I'm more than happy to lend you my sword, should you be able to drum up the money," Coryn offers.

[HorizonsDream]

Tavi seems a little disgruntled about all of this haggling of her money. "I can give you five," she says.

[JadedDM]

"My apologies," he says, placing a hand on her shoulder gently and leading her to the door. "But if you want the very best, I'm afraid it costs a little more. Such is the nature of things, yes?"

[HorizonsDream]

Tavi allows herself to be lead to the door. "Okay, okay, I can pay the eight. It is only for tomorrow though," she says quickly.

[JadedDM]

Coryn smiles, once again showing off those pearly whites. "Fair enough. When do we leave? I need to grab my gear."

[HorizonsDream]

"Tomorrow morning," Tavi says. "I want to heal up a little more before we go out, and I also wanted to gather a couple more people just in case."

[JadedDM]

"Very well. I'll meet you at the inn tomorrow, then. Nine sound good?" Coryn asks.

[HorizonsDream]

Tavi gives a nod to Coryn. "Thanks," she says as she turns and walks out. She heads to where she remember seeing who she believes to be Tork when she first entered the town.

Tavi heads for the west gate of town, and leaves Sturmheim altogether. She approaches the bridge they crossed before. Sure enough, Tork is standing by the railing, fishing over the edge and looking rather bored and perhaps a tad hungover.

"So you're Tork, right?" Tavi asks as she approaches.

[JadedDM]

The young man jumps slightly, having not paid any attention to Tavi's approach. He turns to face her, and looks surprised. "Err, yeah. How'd you know my name? Don't remember givin' it."

[HorizonsDream]

"Mama Chipmunk," Tavi answers with a grin. "I was asking around about people that might be able to help me out. She gave me your name and what you do, and I was able to deduce that you were Tork from that little bit of information."

[JadedDM]

"Whatcha want to know about me fer?" he asks. "Ya want to know something 'bout me, jest ask," he says, rubbing his nose and then sniffing. "Best brawler in Sturnheim, jest ask anyone."

[HorizonsDream]

"So I've heard," Tavi says. "I'm going on a little...quest tomorrow, and I kind of need some help with it. I guess I'm looking for a little protection. As you can probably tell, I'm not in the best shape right now."
