"Well they say the trials are to get harder, perhaps you might get your wish." He tries not to grin. "I wonder which Candidate has your eye my dear?" He asks with mock disinterest.

Galenye laughs lightly. "I don't think harder means having all of the candidates remove their shirts and parade around just for me," she says teasingly. "Though, if you want to do that for me later after all of this is done, I'm certainly not going to complain," she says, giving Erastin a playful wink. "As for who has caught my eye, who says one of them has?"

As the group talks, Selowen approaches them. Although her hair is perfect, as always (not a single strand out of place), she appears a bit haggard. There are dark circles under her green eyes. When she sees them, though, she still smiles and approaches to sit with them.

"Ah, there you are. I guess I missed the trials then. Sorry, Erastin," she says. "I barely slept at all last night. Terrible dreams. Something about a two-headed snake attacking a golden bison. Strange, isn't it? Anyway, I woke up so late, that I didn't know where any of you were. So I spent the day in the tower's library, then figured you all might show up here for dinner. How did the trials go?"

========

(OOC: Yeah, I decided to just fully commandeer Selowen. If Gaia ever shows up, she can have her, but for now, she's a full-fledged NPC.)

"I ummm, ah." Erastin blushes deep crimson and lowers his head. "I think I am going to retire for the night, lots of work in the morning." He stand quickly, dropping his tray (or whatever) and bows. "I bid you goodnight."

(OCC: I was going to reply IC but I am missing the background of Selowen and the rest of the party. I didn't even realize she was a PC at one point.)

(OOC: That's because her player never showed up. You can read Selowen's backstory in the Character Selection thread.)

"Sleep well!" Galenye calls out with a smile. She was going to comment on his blushing, but sadly she didn't get the chance, so she turns her attention to Selowen. "Two headed snakes and golden bison. That is different," she admits with a shrug. "It was a little more interesting than the trails though, in my opinion. Well, the jousting was interesting."

"My, my," Selowen says, bringing a hand up to her mouth. "Was it something I said?" she asks, unaware of Galeneye's earlier comment, just before she arrived. "You don't think he's upset with me for missing the trials, do you?"

Erastin heads back to his room, his body sore from all that exertion.

"It wasn't you," Galenye says with a shake of her head.

(I'm cool to move on.)

"A golden bison and a two-headed snake? Now that's interesting" Karathos tells Selowen. He's ready for some small talk with her, since he's not really tired yet.

(Luna and I are ready to move on, too)
