Laurana just pouts, watching the pipe with interest.

Tanis crawls into the pipe, with Magpie right behind him. After a few moments, he calls out, "Careful, it's really slick in here. Make sure you have both hands free when you climb down. Looks like it goes pretty far, but so far no danger that I can see," he reports.

"My Lady." Sturm graciously helps Laurana into the hole, "Tas go next, I will get the Brothers." He looks to Goldmoon, "You should follow my Lady. I will ensure Riverwind is not too far behind." With that he walks across the hallway. "We have found a way down." He says to the two brothers and Riverwind.

Laurana does not wait to be told twice, she closes her eyes and tries not to imagine what is in the pipe, crawling slowly.

"Making sure you have both hands free" Tanis had said. How were the two staff-bearers going to do that? Goldmoon wondered. For herself, it was more o less OK, she could ask Riverwind to tie it to her backpack, but Raistlin? Also, she was loathe to give up the touch on the staff, it made her feel Mishakal's presence...
Goldmoon looks into the pipe. Was it really inadvisable to hold on to the staff?

Inside the tunnel, mosses and a slimy green film coat the walls of the 4' diameter sewer. Goldmoon assesses it may be possible to climb down with only one hand, but whether she wants to take that risk is up to her. This holds true for anyone else, as well.

Goldmoon sighs and asks Riverwind to tie the staff to her backpack, then starts to climb down the sewer.

Laurana crawls on slowly, looking ahead, so far this was not good, she was wet, she'd been chased by horrible ghosts and they were supposed to fight a dragon? No this was not going well.

Still, she was near Tanis, he was at the bottom, waiting, what more could she ask?

Tanis continues down the pipe, with Magpie behind him, and Laurana following her. Riverwind helps Goldmoon secure her staff so she can enter, and he follows her next. This leaves Sturm, Tas, Flint, and the Majere brothers remaining.

The walls of the tunnel are extremely slick. At one point, Goldmoon nearly slips, but luckily is able to catch herself at the last second. Had she not had both hands free, she likely would have lost her grip entirely.

After several minutes, Tanis finds himself face to face with gully dwarves that are attempting to climb up. There's no room for them to pass each other, so the dwarves start climbing back down to a junction. Magpie directs Tanis to turn there, to climb down an even longer tunnel than this one.

"Just how long is this thing?" Tanis asks Magpie irritably.

"Is long. Reach end soon. Two minutes."

Goldmoon looks at the gully dwarves as they pass them. Do they seem in any way interested in the party of strangers?

The group of Aghar don't seem terribly interested in the party, just slightly annoyed that their way is blocked.

"I've never met people who are so little interested in what's happening around them" Goldmoon whispers as they move on.

"They should be more like Flint. He cares a lot." Tas says in a loud whisper with pride in his friend as they move along.

"How do these creatures survive?" Laurana ponders to herself, as she climbs down, she groans as the creatures came by, shifting out of the way.

"Two Minutes? Where have I heard that before...?" She ponders.
