"I do not know, knight Sturm" Goldmoon acknowledges. "But I feel the same peace here as I do when I'm in contact with the Goddess. The archways are the same blue as her staff. We are in Xak Tsaroth, so I hope that I am where I should be.

But if you three would like to go look for your friends, please do so. Riverwind and I are as safe here as we could be."

"I wonder what happened here?" Laurana asks, her hand going over the old well, "What could destroy stone this way?"

(Does she see any signs of combat here? Anything to say they were here?)

"Tanis, your skills in the forest are still spoken of in Qualinesti, in hushed tones, do you see anything here?" She looks to the building, how strange it was still standing.

"I'm not sure what caused this," Tanis admits. "It looks like acid. A lot of it. There's no sign of battle..," he says, glancing down the well. "If they did come this way, they probably went inside there." He points to the building. "There's no where else to go, but down the well."

Raistlin has a dark look on his face as he follows after Goldmoon. "The old powers are still around it seems..." he mutters to himself.

He nudges his brother and picks up his pace so as not to lose the others, still shaken up by his loss of control when the dragon attacked.

"I suppose, i wouldn't like going Down there myself. " she looks to the building, "I guess we should take a look. Just to check." with that she walks to the building.

Sturm smiles, safe, where was safe these days?

"Caramon and I will go, Rastlin should stay here, come my friend, let us step outside." Sturm checks his weapon and heads to the doorway.

Just as Laurana goes to approach the tarnished doors, Sturm and Caramon do the same from the opposite side. When the door is swung open, the two groups find themselves staring at each other.

"Hey, you're okay!" Caramon says in surprise.

"Harrumph! No thanks to any of you lot!" Flint responds.

"Yes we are ok." The Elf says with a shrug, arguing over why they didnt help was not her fight. "What is this place?" She asks, opening the doors wide.

Tas pokes his head around the edge of the door and checks out the hinge. He rubs an ear and suggests. "Unlocked, too!" He grins and looks around. "They really should lock up when they leave." He checks the hinge and ponders something in idle fashion while fingering a pocket. "Things could get lost, really." He rubs his chin while pondering the damage to the hinges and looks for signs of acid in the grooves.

Goldmoon rises from Riverwind's sick bed and approaches the rest of the group.

"Flint, Tanis, I'm very sorry I did not follow your kidnappers or tried to rescue you from your cage. I knew we all, and everybody else, were doomed if I didn't make it to Xak Tsaroth in time. I didn't know we were that close. Please accept my apologies."

"And if you run off on your own, you could get yourselves killed," Tanis points out. "Then you would not have reached Xak Tsaroth in time anyway. Speaking of which, what in the world happened to Riverwind?" he asks, noting the barbarian's condition.

Laurana nods, "He looks awful, and the well looks like its been melted."

______

Sturm frowns, his face is very dark, "A dragon, a real dragon, I didn't believe it myself, but there it was." He shudders, lowering his head. "I was scared, a Knight never get scared.. It almost killed him, but the staff saved him."

(On site, Jerrard is probably sleeping, he would have wanted me to say that.)

Goldmoon sits down again besides Riverwind, cross-legged, the staff in her lap, running her hands over it. She could only hope they were in the right place. The obelisk had said this was Xak Tsaroth. And this place, better preserved than anything else besides the well the dragon had flown out off, had archways of the same blue.

Still, she is terribly afraid she could be wrong, that they would have to go somewhere else, but then she would have to abandon the grievously wounded Riverwind... She bows her head in silent prayer, asking for advice, but it is hard to concentrate with the tears of exhaustion and despair welling up in her...
