"Can you think of anyone in town who might be helping the smugglers?"

The lad thinks a moment and sighs. "Not really. I haven't thought about it so much. Mind you, we only heard about the smugglers this morning. And I had my mind on... other things the last few months" he admits. "Nobody has behaved strangely in the last few month. Well, some would say that about me" he admits with a grin. "But I assure you that it has to do only with having found the love of my life."

Searos nods. "Well, thank you all the same." He claps the boy on the shoulder. "And good luck with your lass." He gets up to leave and head back to the inn.

[Breila]

"Thank you" the lad says with a big smile. "You don't know a good luck charm, by chance? For me and my lass?"

[The_Muffin_Man]

Searos ponders for a moment. "You know. It seems to me in this life, a man can pray to the gods, keep as many good luck charms, and visit as many priests as he can. But in the end, if you want good luck you gotta make it yourself."

[Breila]

The eager face and bright eyes of the lad go dull for a moment, then he smiles again. "I guess you are right. Thanks for the advice. Back to hard work then." He winks and rejoins the older men for a moment, then walks to a fishing boat and boards it.
