So place silver 'pon their eyes, lest the dead, again shall rise."

The Light: the Light is a generalized deity of the Dawn. In Everdark, the Curse has caused much of the land to be shrouded in perpetual gloom, thus the Light is prayed to in hopes for her eventual return. Her followers have no real symbolism garb, or phrases beyond "May the Light shine upon you."

[Unnamed Dwarven Deity]: the Dwarves have a deity to whom they pray, and attribute their survival to. His name is kept secret from the uninitiated, and usually non-dwarves are still kept in the dark about it. Followers of this deity tend to wear solid white surcoats emblazoned with a black inverted hammer on the chest. These followers are commonly known as "Chanters" due to their ritualized chanting associated with their prayers. Large groups of chanters have been known to bring about miracles of great scale. Because of this, it is believed that their deity has a vested interest in their survival and takes a far more active role that other divine beings.
