So the ring is some form of protection, I guess he'll wear it and see what happens.
As for the wand, hmmm needs more research I think.
Jerrard is no longer in light encumbrance.

Putting on the ring, nothing visible happens. And Jerrard finds he can remove the ring at will, so at least it's not cursed! Does he continue to wear it for the time being?

Okay, but Babushka's bedroll is on Dekker. Do you want it removed from him and placed in the hold?

Yes, it should be. She will have moved it there after the first evening, no longer sleeping in the straw beside him.

In fact, I deliberately played Babushka's hostility to Temeral to keep her in character...

Locky will have forgotten about it in five minutes time.

Hey, everyone, could I get an approximate location for everyone on the ship? Bow, stern? Port side, starboard side, near the mast? On deck or down below, etc.?

Locky is near the Stern, watching the wake of the ship.

Jerrard is just off the port side, near the middle of the ship with Mailka.

Imani is near the bow of the ship.

Temeral is ducked behind the starboard wall.

Babushka is on the port side, not far from the stern.

So, can we formulate a plan? Babuskhas one is a good start....

Plans are always good.

I just want to point out something; rather, to clarify something and make sure we're all on the same page. The Dimernesti are not opposed to the party's help, but they never asked for it. Some of you are acting like the Dimernesti asked to be saved from the dragon, but are now acting unreasonable and are somehow demanding the party do all of the work for them.

In truth, the Dimernesti only told the party about their dragon problem (and only then because Jerrard insisted). Then the party just suddenly started talking about ways to help them, which confused the hell out of them at first (which is why their leader asked for clarification, hence the question, "You would genuinely help us, and ask nothing in return?")

I also want to point out, just for the sake of it, that Imaran's refusal to aid the party in this endeavor isn't me jerking you guys around; it's well within his alignment and personality. Were he a more noble/altruistic fellow, I wouldn't be opposed to him lending a hand.

Again, this is all just to make sure we're all on the same page here.

Because no one else offered....

Okay. I'm not sure why you're telling me, that, though. Unless you think I'm speaking through the Dimernesti? I'm just playing a character.
