New Game Starting: The Pod-Caverns of the Sinister Shroom

Strange doings are underfoot in the wild hills bordering the realm of decent and civilized folks. Villagers and cattle have gone missing; woodcutters have disappeared; misshapen beings have been seen shuffling through the forests. Some brave villagers have tracked a group of stolen oxen as far as the rocky banks of a small river in the hills. The trail disappeared down into a fissure in the limestone rock, where a fast-running stream plunges down to the dark caverns below. Gird your loins, stand behind the dwarf, and get ready to face The Pod-Caverns of the Sinister Shroom!

This is a second edition game for 4-5 Players of 3rd level, set in the world of Krynn, in the year 375AC.

All Dragonlance Races and classes excepted, classes from the Dragonlance Adventures hardback are alowed.

So, do you want to play a Knight of Solomina, A Cleric of Paldine, or even a Pesky Little Kender....?

Let me know what you have and/or need, class-wise - generally I like rogue-y or fight-y types, and Bards, if they exist.

Hi, Ok this is JadedDM's game, so I'm not stepping on toes here...
We have a Kender Cleric, a Human Knight and possibly a Kender Thief if Adaon gets his sheet sorted.

Just my thoughts, but another fighter might be good, or maybe a fighter mage? Guess a Bard fits in there quite nicely!

I just found your site but Id love to play I read dozens of dragonlance books as a kid and loved them. I looked around the site to find where to generate stats and stuff but Im kind of unclear on how to roll stuff online.

Bards can sometimes be problematic in Dragonlance, because of the Conclave and all. But as this is a low-level module, that shouldn't be an issue. So a bard is fine.

There's a gnome ranger waiting in the shadows for a chance to play... Can she still join? What do I need to do?

Gnomes normally cannot be rangers in 2E, but I'm open to the possibility. What did you have in mind? Keep in mind it's an underground dungeon crawl, so maybe some kind of subterranean ranger?

Yep - thought she'd go well with the Kender Cleric

In the PH, Gnomes are described as being comfortable both underground and above ground. My Babushka would be more on the aboveground side (obviously, as a ranger), but still familiar with the underground world of the gemstone mines her clan exploits. Natural caverns are not her specialty, but she won't have been able to resist exploring those that came her way (am I correct that all characters are 4th level?).

I am preparing a character sheet compelte with history and attire, should I send it?

And the first Ed Dragonlance Adventures (Still the best DL book) allows Kenders to be Holy Orders of the stars... lol (I know, who'd let a Kleptomanic Children into their Church willingly!?)

That gives us a warrior. If Jenara's friend is still joining, that gives us a mage, as well. That's a full party then, and should be enough people to get us through the module alive.
