There's been a lot going on in the real world.

It was one of those good news/bad news situations.
Good news is I landed a new job last Thursday.
Bad news was a death in the family that same day - got the call in the car on the way home from the interview.

Sorry to hear of your loss Stik. Doesn't that seem the way of balance though, just as you think you've hit the positive end of life and all is good, something happens to bring you back to the center.

No consolation though when it comes to grief to hear, "well, for every good thing there must be a bad thing". So many times good achievements in my life have been mared by the death of a beloved pet, or someone close to me, and in my grief I cannot understand the fairness of it at all.
