Brainstorming
This is where all out of character (OOC) chat will be taking place. Questions and concerns about the game can be posted here, as well as decision making (for example: marching order).

Re: Brainstorming
In the Characters thread, are we posting full character sheets, or just descriptions?

Re: Brainstorming
Post a full character sheet. That's the only way I'll know if you can really do something you're claiming you can do or not. For example, there will be puzzles to solve, but if the character isn't the brightest bulb in the box, he/she shouldn't be able to solve every puzzle before more intelligent characters. I won't know that if stats aren't posted.Stik wrote:In the Characters thread, are we posting full character sheets, or just descriptions?

On another note, this game is basically freeform, so there should be more "role" playing going on, than "roll" playing.

Re: Brainstorming
Works for me.
I only asked because I do things a bit differently in the PBMB game I run. I have the character sheets on my hard drive, so that the information is kept private between me and each player. The descriptions thread is just that - a physical description of hte character and his equipment, clothing, etc.
I'll post something soon.

So, we have a psycho dwarf who can't use ranged weapons, a Jester (who's real fool), a Thief (who a really hates something, coming soon from WoW) and a Human (cleric/thief or warrior from Bryant..) ...
This is going to be interesting to say the least....

Re: Brainstorming
As soon as all the character sheets are posted, I'll post the intro to the game itself. Don't forget to make sure and post which is your one magic item for your characters.

Less of the "Shorty" please!
Actually Drake has spent the last 6 months living in the Forest with the Elves, he actually likes them.

Re: Brainstorming
One level three cleric coming up in a bit - so, one magic item such as a potion of healing, right?

I believe that was the deal...Kafen wrote:One level three cleric coming up in a bit - so, one magic item such as a potion of healing, right?
Re: Brainstorming
Alrighty, I will add the potion of healing to inventory if it gets approval.

Re: Brainstorming
So.... Few questions for the assorted team, just before we get started...
How do we know each other? Do we know each other?
Drake has spent some time with Elves in the last few months, so its possible he ran into any of the Elves....

Re: Brainstorming
I think we're going to need a bit of campaign background first, so we can slot the party into the world, so to speak.
I had a fairly elaborate character background/history for Martin in the first campaign I played him in. It changed for the second one. I am sure it will change again.
Have you got any background for us, LWW?

Re: Brainstorming
The relationships you develop, or not, with each other will be up to you to decide. Perhaps you knew each other before, perhaps not. No information will be given out about the dungeon until it is time for you to move on to each part. Your introduction to the game will begin with my first post on the game thread itself, so, get Wumbo to move his butt on his character info.

Re: Brainstorming
I was just sort of looking for a bit of atmosphere - a general idea of what the world is like. Does it resemble a post-Roman England or pre-Columbian Mexico? Middle Earth or Middle East? That sort of thing.
