Act 2 Scene 5: "Cavern of the Crown of Souls" (Game Thread)

Pyrod returns through the narrow, winding passage to the oddly shaped room with the pile of smoking bones. He pays careful attention to the ground and finds no hazards there. As he draws near the bones, the red glow intensifies slightly but gives off no heat.

In the hall with Jerry, Merrick, Adrestia, Pytor and Cross; Mira uses a cantrip to create a small glowing orb to see by.

Jerry follows Muira's example and tried to make a light and then follows Pyros.

Pyros will continue into the room once the others appear. He will check the floor around the pile.

Jerry creates a glowing orb of her own and follows Pyros, trailed closely by Elsa. The Kender draws closer and inspects the floor around the dimly glowing bonepile. As far as he can tell it looks to be solid stone...

As others come in, he will start to inspect the walls, and check out the ceiling.

Mira moves on, her focus is finding Elsa ..

Pyros will stand around, and check out the bones while others assemble.

Jerry moves closer, holy icon ready to Turn in case the bones assemble themselves.

pyros takes a closer look at the bones, which appear to be mostly humanoid. The thin stream of smoke continues and the glow from within the pile begins to pulse in time with his heartbeat...

[Nocturno]

Thinking that is odd... he grabs one of the bones. I mean it is beating to his heart right?

[TristenC]

As he grabs one of the arm bones and pulls it free the pile shifts and the glow fades away. He can now see that the bones below fill a round shaft, the depth if which is impossible to determine with all of the bones inside

"Pyros?" Jerry asks. "How do you feel?"

[Nocturno]

He levels the arm bone at Jerry, in a deep serious voice. "You shall not pass! This pit of bones belongs to Takhisis, she will be all of your fortunes!"

Pyros unable to be serious for long.

"Other than my leg, yep!"

[Chris1234]

"HaHaHa!" chortles Jerry, pretty sure that no one and nothing could do such a perfect impression of the irrepressible Pyros; the fellow wasn't possessed as yet. "So what, by Mystra, what was that weird light?" She advances for a closer look.
