"Do you have a mustard I could purchase?" Pyros pulls out a gp.
He will mention the party, but no names. Knowing not everyone is as bold as he.(lol)
He will mention that they were after an artifact, but won't specifially mention the crown.
Understanding there are definitely other powers at play with something so strong.

Pyros can tell that Haldrake seems very interested in this trip to the canyon, and is paying attention to details even though he seems to be only casually enjoying the tale. Oh yeah? Did you find what you were looking for after all those heroics?

When asked about the mustard he shakes his head. Oh, I don't have anything like that behind the bar... uh... he says something to Roland, who nods and moves off back into the inn proper. We'll get you set up, don't worry. After a few minutes the man returns with a small stone jar and says something that Pyros vaguely picks up as someone named Heinstock being unhappy about something. Haldrake slides the little jar to Pyros. Careful who sees you with that... just in case. the bartender says, scanning the other patrons suspiciously.

Does the jar have any markings on it?
======================================
Picking up on the guise Pyros plays a bit into it.

"We found this crown thing, but we took all the gems out, and sold them."
======================
That's accurate right? We found a fake crown, and that is where the big red gems came from?
I'm trying to skirt actually lying, but to mislead since he picked up on his fake disinterest.

[The jar is plain brown stoneware with no markings. It is partly empty. Roland may have just taken it from the kitchen. They found a false crown but didn't keep it i don't think. It was pretty cheaply made. The gemstones came from the secret room in the Ziggurat, not the false crown]

Ok, change the gems store to elaborate how he made it up the Ziggurat, and broke in, to destroy get to the big skeletons that moved the top. He then Heroically liberated the gems as the party was busy.

The false crown was in the room with the floor that gave way and he found himself with the crazy centipedes?

[The floor od the room with the false crown was trapped to fall away, but he found the trap and neutralized it. The centepede pit was in the other cavern]

Haldrake nods. Interesting... sounds like you have been busy! Haha.

Have yoh seen any more of those.. man-creature things? Aside from the jackals?

Ok this is going back a couple years lol
We fought the one in Harmonia that infected Yasir?
==========================================
He will be open about this, because he wants to know more. But his interest in the fact that someone is openly asking will be large because everyone else was so closed to it.

[Yeah, they fought the one wolf-man in the jail and a different kind protecting the Ontash farm. How much detail is he giving about either/ or both?]

Yes the farm!

Detail, will be enough to be entertaining. He won't mention names but he will mention places. The jail in Harmonia will probably well known... we wrecked that place. But he will just say it was a farm house, not specify. He won't be able to help himself about the pups they found, and released.(I think)

Haldrake becomes obviously interested at this point and even asks about various details as the Kender goes on. I see, magic and silver. Well, you and your friends sound like you can take care of yourselves pretty well. Why don't you bring them around sometime and I'll give you a free round if you have more stories. he adds congenially

Pyros grumbles under his breath, then sighs.

"I'm going to take you up on that Drink offer."

He will head out to the rest of the group.
