Hi Noct!
Sorry to be dense, but need a bit of help understanding this one:
a) We're in the meeting room (with the table) and that is Room #3 (NE on the multi-room map). Correct?
b) Withing the meeting room, the group GG is guarding is #1 (west end of the table) and the group to be negotiated with is #2 (east end of table). Correct?
c) There are six "X" in the meeting room. Does this represent six (Triton & Elemental) pairs prior to the wave?
d) After the wave are there now six Tritons in the same positions?
e) Do you want me to copy/paste every piece of text that I've posted since we entered the temple and putit in as a single block?

I've done the rolls in the main thread.

5 pairs, then 5 Tritons.

No, I meant for the 2 hobos who haven't posted since we arrived at the temple.

Thx for explaining.
I still count six "X" though.
And not sure what the huge arrow denotes.

Hi,
I might be bad at posting actions for battle since I'm used to 2nd ed. and not 5th, so please be patient. Thanks. :)

Might help.

Let me know if you want some help setting up some macros to speed rolling along if you use USS.

If you are meaning Ceremony - Dedication - Sure, but that is for Saving Throws, and once per 24 hours.

Guidance - I would want you to say you are using it before you foll the skill checks. Remeber it is a +1d4, not +4.

You can roll the d4s for these since we aren't in a time crunch yet.

Working on the map and tokens.

Doing this first combat should be interesting.

This map thing, getting the grids on is posing more of a challenge than I thought it would.

You might try using Rolld20 site, drop in your map, add their grid, fiddle with that, then screenshot it.
Or don't botter with a grid, just add a scale to the bottom of the map and let the players figure it out (about be generous in what interpretation you allow.)

Up to you, of course!

I was playing around with Roll 20 a bit, I'd like to make the grid tighter but can't seem to find options for it.

Flanking a medium, would just be opposite tiles, since it is much easier to know which is opposite.

Do you grant advantage for flanking?

And can GG flank the troll?
