WotL OOC Thread II

This 2E Dragonlance game is set in the city of Haven, during the War of the Lance. Haven is a city undergoing great upheaval. First massive numbers of refugees pour in, then the city is conquered by a draconic army. Can our heroes survive under this dark occupation?

Yes, "TN" stands for 'target number.' It's something I picked up from Dragon Age.

So the 15 shouldn't have hit. I've been really sick the past couple of days (which is why I posted today so late), and must have missed that. Good eye. I'll restore the 2 HP to Grubnick he shouldn't have lost.

Hmm, looks unlikely that I'll need to roll up a new character yet. However I don't see much point in me posting until such a point where Haahqae becomes conscious again. (So that he can again go about having the greatest ideas of everyone! (That is everyone that ever existed)).

Yeeeeah... I'm not buying that last part ;) wouldn't trust it from the gnome either...

Haahque, i hope you know I only tease you good-naturedly :) I feel like i've been giving the Gnome a lot of flak lately, but he did almost get half the party wiped out on my First combat sequence in this campaign... Actually, I guess he still may

Yeah he did, but to be fair he was neither the person he was searching for, nor was he the one who started the combat. He might have even been able to "teleport" away.

On a similar note, I've been saying all along that if the party always keeps following my "wisdom", I'll probably lead them into a tpk at some point. Who knows, this might be it!

Wow. A lot happened this weekend. Sorry I wasn't online.

I'm glad no one died. I grew fond of the characters and in my mind Darga still exists :)

So... the plot thickens. :) I think losing the battles with Jaded DMing only brought us to a much more interesting position than winning could have.

And now into the depth of yet another cult!

Also Kendra raises to glory as the brothel manager is great. If that works she will assume a position of great power. A lot of manipulations, information, conspiracies and blackmail goes through brothels. She could influence a lot of other high rank peoples in the city, the army and maybe even the church.

Certainly none of this was anything I was expecting to happen!

It's funny how the Belzorite quest went from a 'search and destroy' to a 'rescue mission' and now is a potential 'jail-break' scenario.

It still has the potential to become a 'roll four new characters' situation...

You're probably wishing you had teamed up with the girls right about this point instead, right?

Well yes of course. Any more time with Ismene is good time, and she would have wiped the floor with these cultists!
