Goldmoon squeezes between Magpie and the wall and stands next to Tasslehoff near the North wall. "Tika, come here" she calls the young woman while she's walking, pointing to the spot.

Riverwind, not wanting to give up his position by the door, drops into full defense mode, attempting to shoulder his bow and draw sword and dagger.

Tas fires at an enemy using his previous rolls since he has lost a round.

Dropping her bow Laurana draws her sword and tries to subdue the creature attacking her (#7)

1d10, 1d20+2, 1d8+2=[6], [18, 2], [4, 2]

Init 6, Hit AC -3 (so 1) Dmg 6.

Magpie makes a little sound and draws her little dagger, she moves away, getting closer to Tas, "Bosses hurt when they die, me not like that. Me need stones."

Sturm swings Brightblade once more using the flat of the blade, killing them was far too dangerous, he strikes at the first, if it falls to the ground he swings the blade forward striking at #7.

1d10=1, 1d20+1, 1d10+6=[13, 1], [2, 6], 1d20+1, 1d10+6=[20, 1], [7, 6]

Init 1, Hit AC 0, Dmg 8. Hit AC -5, Crit, Dmg 13. (I forget the crit damage, but OUCH!)

Tas shifts his hip and lets his new friend get at his supply. He suggests. "Be careful of the acid."

Quickly dropping his bow, Riverwind draws his sword and dagger and does his best to protect the door. He blocks one attack, but fails in time to stop the second one.

Crying out in pain, Tika crosses the pool of acid to reach dry land, burning herself further in the process. She is in bad shape, but at least she is safe for the moment.

Sturm, using the flat of his blade, smacks a draconian across the snout. It falls, splashing in the acid remains of his fallen brothers. Sturm then moves through the acid, burning his feet further, in order to reach Laurana's opponent.

Drawing her knife, Magpie moves up toward Tas and asks for more ammunition.

At this point, things take a turn for the worse. The unconscious Kapak that Sturm just clobbered is killed by the acid he is floating in, and thus turns into acid himself, further expanding the growing pool and burning Sturm, Laurana, and Laurana's opponent in the process. Laurana then attacks her opponent again, accidentally killing him, thus increasing the acid pool and burning herself and Sturm.

Eben and his opponent exchange blows. The warrior blocks, but the kapak gets smacked in the head. He is just barely standing, he can't take another blow like that. Eben grins in anticipation, with no idea there's a massive pool of acid right behind him.

Caramon quickly steps out of the acid, trapped. "Well, at least the door is protected," he mumbles, as the only way to reach the door would be to cross the pool of acid.

Goldmoon attempts to get to Tika, but finds her efforts blocked. The acid pool has grown larger, and Magpie is now standing in the way, preventing the cleric from reaching the wounded waitress.

Tasslehoff allows Magpie access to his stones, and then fires one himself. However, it misses and clatters to the ground.

Sturm attacks Kapak 07 with the flat of Brightblade, but he is already dead!

(OOC: Seeing as how Sturm just killed 'the first' in the last round, I'm assuming Jerrard meant he attacks #2.

Actions for Round 3?)

Seeing that the way to the door is mostly blocked, Riverwind presses the attack on kapak #8, but not letting #5 around to his left.

to hit, to subdue (1d20+3=10)
subdue dagger attack (1d20+3=14)
dagger damage (1d4+1=3)

Helpless, Goldmoon stands in the doorway, scowling at Magpie.

(OOC: for future reference, would a "Destroy Water" spell (Reverse of Create Water) dispel the acid?)

Tas pulls Magpie out of the way and lets her pass through their space without trying to stop the healer from reaching their wounded companion.

(( Assuming that we can mechanically allow people to pass through our space without having to do a rule check ))

Switching Brightblade to his off hand, Sturm grabs Laurana by the waist and pulls he away from the Acid.
"My Lady." He pants, lowering her onto 'dry' Land.

(assuming I can do that?)

Magpie huddles up with Tas, her body shaking, this was horrible and scary, she wanted to go home.
"Me no like this, Bosses scary."

"Thank you Sir Knight." Laurana says drawing her bow and preparing to aid her friends.

Magpie squeezes into the corner with Tasslehoff, trying to make room for Goldmoon. However, acid still blocks the cleric's path. The angle from the door is too awkward to jump, so she must either wait for the acid to evaporate or walk across it.

Sturm scoops up the elven maid and carries her across the acid, depositing her safely near Eben. His feet burn terrible as he walks across the acid. Laurana thanks the Solamnic and reaches for her bow, but then remembers she dropped it over by the door in the acid. Hopefully, it survives the corrosive liquids.

Riverwind fends off two kapaks at once. He attacks one with his sword, but it is parried by the kapak's own blade. Riverwind then moves in quickly, slamming the hilt of his dagger across the kapak's snout. The other kapak moves in to attack, but trips and falls flat on his face, right at the ranger's feet.

Eben clobbers his opponent with the flat of his blade, knocking the draconian to the ground unconscious. Grinning, he turns around and notes with surprise the massive pool of acid that is bubbling dangerously in the north half of the room. "By the Abyss..!"

Some of the acid evaporates at that point, opening up some room and revealing the largely dissolved remains of Laurana's once proud bow.

As soon as she can, Goldmoon reaches Tika to heal the worst of her burns (Cure moderate wounds).
