Imani quietly approaches one guard, while Babushka approaches the other. Of course, as the gnome is only 3'4", and the elves are each about 5', Babushka is forced to stand on her tippy toes just to reach the back of the head of her guard.

Nevertheless, both manage to knock out their respective guards easily enough with blows to the back of the head.

=============

Imani uses a non-lethal attack (-4) against Elf Guard 01 with great skill (+1) of her magical scimitar (+3) from behind (+2) (1d20+2): 21, hit for (1d8+5): 13 damage (6 temporary). Elf 01 is knocked out.
Babushka uses a non-lethal attack (-4) against Elf Guard 02 with her Longtooth Dagger (+2) from behind (+2) (1d20): 12, bare hit for (1d6+2): 8 damage (4 temporary). Elf 02 is knocked out.

Imani puts away her scimitar as she walks back to her horse, and mounts up. "Let's go," she says to the others as she nudges her horse to move forward.

"I'll bring up the rear" Babushka says. Holding Dekker by the reins, she waits for all others to pass, then follows.

The party leaves the village and travels in silence for at least an hour, focusing on putting as much space between them and the dragons as possible.

"You didn't have to follow me," Imani finally says after a long while. She knew she was going to leave no matter what the others decided.

"You are right." Locky says her head low, "I didn't do much against the last one, we Kender aren't really designed for fighting Dragons." She shrugs, "We just do what we can to make a difference in any way we can."

"We promised to help your son, and the Kender and we can't do that if we are dead." She shuffles her feet pulling the ponies along. "I hope they live, I did all I could."

"Locky is right, we would have been killed, you made a tough choice." Jerrard agrees quietly, "We made a promise."

"Speaking of promises.." He moves the horse with Malika off to one side. "I'm sorry, I didn't know, my knowledge of Draconians, I did not know." He frowns, "Lets get you safe and clean, I have clothes if you wish to borrow them."

Jerrard wrote:"I have clothes if you wish to borrow them."
"It is starting to get cold," Malika notes, hugging herself.

"Autumn is coming," Thuskar notes.

"And without any kirath to help us, it might be months before we find our way out of here," Ulster adds. "We should be ready for winter's arrival when it gets here."

"Well, I have all my things back, which means that I can make clothes" Babushka says. "I don't have much raw material, though, just a few patches of wool fabric. I could adjust clothes to fit Malika, for example. Make warm socks for myself, too, since I have no real boots. We'll see what is possible."

Reaching into his backpack Jerrard produces a spare robe and cloak, "Pull this on, not quite your look but it will help." He looks at her with a kindly smile. "We will make camp when we are far enough away."

Locky huddles up in her too big cloak, and tries to think of happier times.

"That means that we will also probably need to hunt for food and search for water as well," Imani says. "Eventually, though, we will find a way out of here."

"Hunting and foraging I can do, and can't Locky create water?" Babushka says. "But remembering my adventure with the wyndlass, I'd better not go alone any more."

"I think perhaps Paladine was looking the other way last time." Locky suggests, "I can make water clean again.." (I made a mistake last time, she can't cast that spell)

"And I won't LET you go alone Babuskha." She says with utter defiance, "We will be ok, we always are."
