Today is a big day in medieval history, or in conspiracy lore, depending on your point of view.

On Friday, October 13, 1307, the Knights Templar were arrested in France and subsequently accused of a variety of offenses from heresy to idolatry, when their real crime was loaning money to the Crown that the Crown couldn't pay back.
