With her headache easing somewhat, Jerry picks up the 4 silvered slong bullets, "Thanks, Mira. Where do you want me? Maybe I can help with a cantrip. too?"

[Ooc: a cantrip illusion could create a 2d image or scent or sound, but not two senses at once. The illusions would last 1 round and could be maintained by performing another cantrip check each round. Range will be about 30 feet. More details below. Cross doesn't have the cantrip nwp, but he has the phantasmal force spell, which is far more powerful than a cantrip (size, range and includes mobility). See spell description]
Pyros and Artanis move through the pantry and open the doors leading to the loft. Upstairs they see the window, and easily step out onto the roof [no check needed]. The air is cool, and the waning light draws the shadows of the farm out in a sinister fashion. Bare treebranches clutch at the sky like claws, and patchy clusters of fog have already begun to form in the low places. The once welcoming evergreens around the edges of the property whine mournfully in the rising breeze...
Down in the kitchen the others continue their discussion of illuions. Yes, I can aid in the illusions. If we are to be working together on one, we should probably all stay together in the den area here where we can use the front windows overlooking the trees. Elsa nods, hefting her mace. And I'll cover the side door.

Cal has not been assigned a place, but somewhere where he could contribute to the cantrip would probably benefit the group best
Since ThaWizKid hasn't been on since Jan 11th, I'll keep Adran in the living room until he starts posting.
So far the plan seems to be:
Roof: (cold, potentially hazardous, 360 deg view)
Pyros, Artanis, Cross?
Hall by Side door: (No visibility, East door is possible point of entry)
Elsa
Kitchen: (1 window, visibility West only)
None?
Den: (2 windows, 1 north 1 west. North door Possible point of entry)
Adran, Mira? Cal? Jerry? Merrick.
Upstairs bedroom: (1 window to North.)

All visual illusions can be dispelled by touch or dispel magic, and they remain only as long as the caster concentrates on them. Any smell created lasts only as long as the caster concentrates, affecting a maximum area of 10 cubic feet. Breezes dissipate the smell, and it may be masked by an overpowering smell, such as a troglodyte’s stench or the carrion odor of a ghast.

Artanis nudges Pyros and whispers: "Lucky for us, we smell like fish. If we stay relatively close to the chimney, we will get a slight bit of heat from the bricks. Not much, but every bit will help. If we sit back to back, that will help and we can watch better. We will either tap each other or the roof lightly if we see something."
