Searching the ship

Desolate and abandoned, the evil alchemist’s mansion stands alone on the cliff, looking out towards the sea. Mysterious lights and ghostly hauntings have kept away the people of Saltmarsh, despite rumours of a fabulous forgotten treasure. What is its sinister secret?

"OK, thanks. I hoped to find some antidote here on the deck, but now that we didn't I appreciate you coming with me." Kulop says shyly.

As Kulop and Kim head for the rail, Martin follows, calling out brightly: "K, before you leave, do me a small favor..." Martin's tone is mirthful as he approaches, but gets quieter with each step, although it still remains cheerful. "...and deposit anything that might have mysteriously leapt into your pockets whilst you were on-board onto the deck." He takes a knee next to Kulop, to put him at eye-level with the halfling, and says in a voice that only Kulop can hear: "Were I working for some distant and faceless employer, I myself would certainly see to it that some shrinkage occurred in the process of taking inventory. But this ship is mine now. I worked and bled and killed to take it. Whatever you take from it now, you take from me. If your healer requires payment, send them to me. But let's not ruin the beginning of a potentially profitable and pleasant relationship, shall we?"

Kulop looks at Drake with obvious terror and confusion. Too obvious terror for that matter. "Drake?!? What do you mean?? But of course! I'm no common thief. I'm a honorable businessman that offers his good services to others. And if sometimes I have to loan something, it is always after having permission, or if there is no time to have permission, I always pays my debts [OOC]: Sorry about the 'Game of Throne'ness of this sentence. ;) [/OOC], So don't worry my friend. Our long time friendship is sealed and secured." Kulop says cheerfully. "That of course if I don't drop dead of the poison before I get to the healer..." his smile turns to a scowl.

As Drake and Kulop have a chat in private, Gustas takes the opportunity to inspect the lietwurmchen or what that word that Vee said was. He makes sure to cross his arms, jug, wine and fingers all safely tucked away.

"Well its colourful. Lookin' like a dragon, can it do fire or something?" Gustas asks Reller.

"I think it can do bites, perhaps." Reller says with a smile. He suggests. "I doubt it can do much fire." Pausing, he jokes."Yet."

Looking around, Reller tells the group. "We might be able to search the rigging, later. It's a little hard to search the rigging without a crew to handle the lines. We have to worry about the healing, first."

Kulop nods his agreement enthusiastically, "You should listen to the man with the flying lizard." he says looking around at the others.

Gustas leers at the pseudodragon warily, "Aye, Yet... Tell ya would be good if it could fetch from the bar to ma chair." he laughs while taking another swig from the jug.

"Well, I can make safe the boat here and 'escort' you all to that healer, I'm on the militia's clock after all."

"I could carry him too, while you all are searching the ship. I don't think we all need to go"
Vee repeats her offer from the beginning. then she thinks for a moment "...well, if you keep somthing of the bling-bling stuff for me of course!"

"Do not fret about the valuables aboard this vessel, Vee my friend. We are here to inventory the ship, not to loot it.

"But perhaps instead of walking all the way to the healer, perhaps it would be best for the celebrated Mister K to lie down and rest, whilst we summon a healer here, neh? After all, if he was indeed poisoned all that walking might get his blood flowing and spread the poison."

Kulop turns to Drake musing, "Well, you are right. But would one answer the summoning?"

"The rest of us could stay on board to finish the inventory." Reller suggests to the group. "If need be, I could see him back."

"Ooooh...." Vee says disapointed and mutters "nothing valuable for so poor jung girls"

"Well, SOMEONE should go SOMWEHRE now, or he'll die while we're discussing how to save him.
Brax would come, but it would be less time if I carry him to her?"

"If there aren't any better sugestions I'll take him now"

"Aye, 'tis only a boat and not going far sooner, nay worth dying over."

"So the rest of us, which compartment you interested in seeing next? Perhaps the brig? Find us some more o this!"
Gustas exclaims, proceeding to neck the remaining contents of the jug.
