Act 2, Scene 2: "To Crush the Wetrocks" (Main Game Thread)

The 2E AD&D Homebrew Sandbox world of Genwald is large, ancient, and magical. There are many undiscovered/untamed places. The Sun Kingdom (European style, Late Medieval Human NG Monarchy) is the basic Campaign area, but PCs can end up anywhere.

The scars of ancient battles of titanic proportions mark the land. Wild magic zones, fantastical terrain, grand adventure, political strife, and even artifacts of wonder await. Choose your part and come make your mark on the world. A wide array of unconventional races and classes are available.

A very quiet "Shh!" is the only response from the Corellon-devoted drow..

Findalsip gives the hand gesture for 'shh' and then gestures to the drow 'eyes forward' hoping Linar understands that the little guy has a clue regarding what they are doing.

Findalsip allows Linar to take point his skills being better suited for such. He follows as much as possible in his tracks but keeps his head on a swivel knowing they aren’t the only ones here.

Dran quickly returns with Katten and the Underdark natives lead the way. Linar returns to the last split and follows cautiously the familiar passsge.

After nearly an hour, a runoff passage opens to one side; barely large enough for a slender halfling (like a tallfellow) to crawl through. But would be untenable for anyone larger.

The main passage continued on only a few more feet before an evident and old collapse had blocked the passage. Oddly, the stones blocking the passage on this side looked mostly natural, but had worked stone among them as well... perhaps some structure had once kept the passage open? A small area to one side had likewise been eroded since the initial collapse, and indeed it seemed someone had cleared enough rubble that a human or Elf might slip through to the other side.

===
Linar recognizes this as the small area he cleared to lead into Dorinkak about a week ago iirc

Findalsip keeps mental track of depth and direction and looks at the breakdown and relocated rubble. He makes a check to determine things regarding the 'new to him' find. [1d10]=4 and gets Linar's attention. He stops to scribe some notes in his journal and puts it away and is ready to precede once more.

Linar signals to Findalsip to come closer to listen to him. He whispers in the smaller fellow's ear, "Dorinkak, dwarven city," and points 'through' the gap. He adds, "Tell the others quietly," and then prepares to slip through to the other side.

Nocturno will stay at the back helping to guide Jordek, and minimize the clanking affect on the scouts.

FIndalsip waits on the others and very quietly relays the info. He then sets about planning of rubble removal to allow the big and tall folks to enter as well without creatin goo much noise.

Katten keeps her sword drawn in one hand and Dran's scruff in the other, she kept him near to keep him safe. This was not her world.

Fin examines the pile and determines it should be fairly safe to excavate enough for the Minotaur to get through. How long it takes will depend on how many people are helping, their size and strength.

At most two med sized creatures could work from one side of the passage, or one large person. If the group wanted to speed it up, two could crawl through and work from one side while Bull worked from the current side

Nocturno will volunteer to work the far side, unless someone else has by the time he catches up.

Findalsip helps with rubble removal and coaches the rest that are on the cavern side about which rocks to pull to ensure safety.

Bull

Walks as close as he can get and stops. Taking his pack and huge sword off his back. There is no way I will fit through that little hole. Anyone have shrink spell for Bull?
