Elsa seems to take her meaning and let it lie. No one was trying to exclude you, but better than most you likely understand that speaking of certain things in a crowded inn is... unwise. Looking to see that there are none but their group within earshot she clarifies. What we found was a crown. A big, priceless looking crown that is supposedly an Artifact-level magic item. It's Akriel's family heirloom, and she believes her fianceé Dr Dominiani can use it to send us all home... like, home-home. The pretty halfling pauses to let it all settle in. So you can understand why we waited for fewer ears around to share that detail. she finishes in a kind and somewhat pleading tone; obviously unhappy they had upset anyone.

Del listens carefully. Then lowers her voice so only Elsa can hear"How did this come about? What do you know of Akriel? Do you trust

her? And this Doctor whats-is-name... do you know him? Would you trust either of them with your lives? Trust is a very rare commodity to me, you really

have to earn it. And secondly you should not be talking about that in an open space like the Inn's main room, anyone paying attention will hear you, I'd

rent a private room to discuss or gather in someones room to discuss this business. It owuld be out of prying eyes and ears. Can this itrem be

researched here in Harmonia. Trust noone, I severely stress this. Is there a magic shop or maybe a library here? I's look there. gain, trust noone who

hasn't proved themselves to you."

Del stops talking and at the same time waits for a reply from the pail boy (I guesss you call him that lol)

"I have no intention to check up on anyone. In fact it was my intention to ensure you were here, then check on my Mount Bayard." Karl explains truthfully, while he had heard such language in the Barracks, he couldnt fight his training and be at least slightly offended, and yet he wouldn't allow it to show. "I am not familiar with the Town, or the language." He salutes and heads to the stables.

"I might just take a look when I escort Sabrina to work.." Mira muses, aware she had to deal with the Del situation sooner or later, "Who might know about this 'feeding the bush?'" She wonders, "Ok, time to get you to work Young Lady. After we make a few stops first. Jerry." She hands over the gold she promised, and rises from her seat. "I will be back soon."

(Mira is going to the Glass eye, looking for a few things for Sabrina and then she wants to find a place to get her a Lute)

(Elsa would be speaking softly before Del approached the lad cleaning up, and none others but Esker and Karl within earshot.)

We have been in this land for more than a couple of weeks, Mira closer to three times that. We have made a lot of attempts at research, but came up with nothing. Akriel only knew the location because of her family. But she was being pursued by some 'dark woodsman'... a posessive and brutal person... we saw him, once. But she has already helped us out, we were... erm... jailed for a misunderstanding but she cleared it up and got us freed.

When Del goes to the lad with the pail he doesn't seem to understand her. Elsa tries to communicate as well, but the lad seems only to understand Harmonian and the halfling's grasp of the language isn't very good. I wonder if it is related to the murder? Merrick said that another had happened last night, right outside the inn... she shivers, despite herself.

As Mira and Sabrina exit they will see Elsa and Del attempting to speak to a young boy scrubbing blood from the cobbles

Mira takes a deep breath and walks towards Elsa, her hand grasping Sabrina's as they do so.

"Hello." She smiles at the boy, "What happened here? Did someone get hurt?" She asks carefully, "I'm staying at the Inn, you might know me.."

The lad takes in the redhead's appearance and cocks his head to one side. Ain't you that red gypsy lady? Ma says you're trouble. But yeah, another murder. So this is where you're staying? Maybe that's why it happened here... he says, his Harmonian accent almost too thick for Mira to make out.

Pyros watches everyone leave. Shrugs his shoulders.

"No one said not to. So I guess I will go ask about some names."

He will stand up, put his hand out to Gregor.

"Nice to meet you."

Iscind

Watching first Del and then Sir Karl and Esker leave the inn, the diminutive woman remains in her seat listening to the conversations and trying not to appear nosey regarding what is being said. She was still a stranger to these people and had no wish to butt into their conversations. So for now, she remains silent finishing her breakfast.

Del , not really in a great frame of mind and surprisingly lacking patience, listens but, not understanding anything , she grunts and walks off

into the town of Harmonia. She pays attention to her surroundings looking for a certain type of area.

"Thank you." Mira answers even if the boy had been rude, she turns and heads to the Glass eye before going back to the Old Kartakan Inn with Sabrina, planning to ask about feeding the bushes, something obviously she had heard in a song.

"They really do feel I am going to charm the town and steal all the men don't they?" She shakes her head in disbelief and glances back a moment at the boy washing away the blood.

"Well you haven't stolen me, so thats ok."

Esker Manyblades

"Check up on you?," the ranger frowns at Del, "Do you need checking up on?" He looks between her and Karl, "I'm just out for some air," he says looking beyond the two at what he can see in the town, "Since I don't speak the native tongue, I need to get the lay of the land. Know my way abouts, till we decide to move on." He tugs at his beard, "I don't suppose you two know where a man can replenish his supply of arrows do you?"

"Honestly I do not but good try buddy. As to me I am going to try to find some contacts here, mostly not decent type folks. Neither do I

speak the language of the land. You are welcome to join me , I guess I should attempt some type of relaxation after my "explosion" earlier.

So honestly, language aside, I'm looking for the seedier side of this place. You can join me or do your own thing, I won't judge you. I've found

that , well , uncouth , seedy types speak a certain language and if it is like where I hail from, it should be understood. "

Del stops and looks at both men, waiting for their replies.

Gregor half rises from his chair extending his hand to clasp the Kender's. Well met!, he exclaims. I'll guard our table for a bit then be heading out myself. Good hunting to ya.

"Going to be hard getting information not knowing the language," Gregor thinks to himself. "Might be worth having a local teach me a few things to get started. Wonder if they have a school in this here town - a couple silver might get a start to it. Or maybe one of those book things that give you the words. Course languages ain't never been me skill." Sighing, Gregor looks around the floor and wonders how he's to go about asking about talking something he can't talk. "Maybe some of those people who came over but been here a bit have already thought about this. Might better ask them first." With that he drains the last of ale and rises to exit after the group and ask the question.
