Mira sighs, her dislike of Combat coming throgh as she makes her way along the bridge looking to see if they now react to her presence.

Karl grabs the Kender, pulling him back in annoyance, his mace in his offhand as he prepares to strike the Skeltons.

[No worries, Life happens]

As the skeletons prepare to descend, Mira moves further along the bridge invisibly. None of the undead seem to pay her any attention whatsoever.

"Mystra's servant tells ye to begone!" Jerry cries out. Almost in unison Elsa shouts PYROS!!! in alarm. The pair of priestesses present their plaintiff prayers, and a golden light glares garishly in the dark chamber; quite overshadowing the glow of the fog below. The clatter of chains rattle and echo off of the irregular surfaces of the cavern and the vast bulk of the skeletons shield their faces from the holy light and press themselves tight against the walls. Only the 4 skeletons regaining their footing and a trio of those preparing to attack seem to resist the rebuke

Pyros begins to step back, but before he makes much progress Sir Karl hauls him back by the scruff of his leather armor. The Knight prepares to strike with his mace, but with the target apparently now out of range none of the skeletons come within melee distance. Adran, Art, Cross and Merrick all fire their respective missiles at the unaffected skeletons. Only the platinum haired elf's shot flies true, striking a glancing blow against the undead.

After a breath, everyone takes stock. The climbing skeletons all regain their position and only 7 of the original 24 seem to remain threatening but unable to reach the visible members of the party.

[None of the 'active' 7 can currently detect Mira, nor reach the rest of the group. 17 of the 24 skeletons are turned]

"I suggest keep shooting the active ones," says Jerry, always keen to do over undead but the living take priority. She advances to cast Cure Light Wounds on Pyros, "Hold still, Pyros!"

Pyros will stand still and wind up his hoopak. Aiming for the closest "active" one.

Standing in defence of the Kender, Karl moves forward at slow pace towards where he assumes Mira went, mace in hand he will strike at any creatures that get close.

Jerry calls to the others to destroy the unaffected skeletons as she heals the halfling rogue. Cross fires a pair of magic missiles, destroying one skeleton and damaging another. The others fire their ranged weapons as well, Elsa destroying another and Artanis striking a glancing blow on one. Pyros too manages to crush a bony skull and send the skeleton clattering down against the wall like a dangling ivory streamer.

Knowing Mira is somewhere along the bridge, Sir Karl moves forward, prepared to smash any undead in his way. One swings down to assault the knight, but he manages to evade it's spear though his own weapon catches nothing but air. A second swoops to attack and lands a savagely lucky strike against the heavily armored man! Karl teeters on the edge of losing his balance for a moment as the other skeletons prepare to attack!

[Dex check for Sir Karl please. If he passes he can act normally this round]

[Nice.]

Sir Karl deftly redirects the force of the blow without risking his balance. (No restrictions on his options for the next round). It becomes clear that only four of the remaining skeletons are hostile, the remainder still backing as far away from the group as their ledges allow.

[Those on the bridge are capable of engaging in melee. Other skeletons are easily reachable with ranged weapons]

"Mystra's power won't keep them turned forever. We should deal with the active ones and then destroy the others," suggests Jerry as she equips her sling and starts winding up the stone.

Standing safety at the other side of the bridge Mira curses her cowardice, she should have stayed with her friends.. She considers attacking the creatures herself, yet she knew she had no weapon to harm them, and if she did so the spell would break. Right now she was the best they had in the way of a scout..
