Re: Pyros Litehand (Nocturno) - Private Thread

Ok, forgot my math for stats and thieving skills at home. Since I will be level 4 with that 5k XP, I should have 4 weapon, and 7 non weapon profs. Looking at hoopak, club, and dagger. I'm going with dagger, as they are useful for things other than just backstabbing, as Pyros' adventures progress int...

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

I am going to assume the hoopak will need it's own weapon prof.

I also don't see a kender using a shortsword or dagger, they don't strike me as a pokey pokey race, other than with words.

Re: Pyros Litehand (Nocturno) - Private Thread

I guess I was doubting that, because I was wrong.

Thanks.

Re: Pyros Litehand (Nocturno) - Private Thread

When applying the thieving skills I am using the 5% for each skill other than read languages, and the 40% climb walls, rather than the halfling boni?

I realize what I am asking lol.. not sure why I am doubting myself.

Yes, and yes.

Re: unnamed (Nocturno) - Private Thread

Going on a limb here that I roll my fellow to be short, or else he will have to slouch alot. Pyros Litehand always seemed too small or too slow. Uncle Tas just never let him do anything fun! When Pyros was just 5 he got his first taste of the wanderlust. It was purely by accident, as most things see...

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

Great, big fan of the Dragonlance books, so I will come up with something good. Well something I think is good anyway.

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

I am going to go with staight up Thief name still pending.

How much of a backstory do you need? Are you going to handle the transition from Krynn to where we start?

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

Ok two things just convinced me to play the kender. From the Gnomes and Halflings Handbook:

"They are not suicidal, but they do get carried away."
"The Taunt"

I promise I will behave, mostly, but this seems like a lot of fun.

Re: unnamed (Nocturno) - Private Thread

No, not set, but Thief who can heal themselves is pretty appealing.

And would really go against the Fighter/Clerics I usually end up playing.

Re: unnamed (Nocturno) - Private Thread

Wasn't sure where else to put this. I just used my Forum name for the roll, but I will be coming up with a character name once I read about the kender. http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/search/1582777 [1,2,1]=(4) [5,3,3]=(11) [5,2,5]=(12) [1,6,3]=(10) [6,6,4]=(16) [6,1,4]=(11) [6,2,6]=(14) [1,1,3]=(...

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

Yes but with the luck of the kender, he avoids the trap and the poor dwarf gets the trap in the lower beard!

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

Thanks, I figured it couldn't hurt to ask...

So far everyone else seems to be multi-class so this may entice me to go with the kender you mentioned.

Thinking about the kender from the books it could be interesting.

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC Chat

When you say 5k xp, is that per class if you multiclass or per character?
