Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

[OOC] Gregor will support the lair search to the degree he can but isn't convinced we have enough knowledge to speak with the beastman's coworker. He may be a separate species at odds or coexisting but don't want to talk about killing anyone. He'll pass on revisiting that inn.] Gregor quickly finish...

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

So this Haldrake is another one o' these beastmen only bigger than the one we just fought?, Gregor queries. Are we sure about this then?

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Gregor nods in recognition of Cross' observation. Trail looks to be cold from here dontcha think? Might be best if we head back to the rest and fill them in. Less someone wants to try talking to them inside. Gregor takes a tentative step back towards the inn but waits to see what the rest decide.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Glancing up at the large hall and the illegible sign no doubt declaring its purpose, Gregor sighs and then shrugs to the group. I can't make out the writing and 'ave no musical talent anyway. Might be worth asking within if we could talk to 'em. Do we try or head back to find someone who can ask for...

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Gregor nods to Iscind in appreciation for the complement. Lucky spot, he smiles. Can you tell if the tracks were of someone already being pursued or just trying to get somewhere?

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Gregor will use his powers of observation to determine if there is "something subtly askew." Otherwise he will proceed after Iscind trying not to get in her way.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

As Mira and Pyros enter the inn, Gregor remains outside to watch the group as they appear intent on tracking the assailant from the prior evening. Unaware of their plans, he takes a quick slash from his flask and watches the proceedings.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Allys is good , Gregor nods in agreement. But not sure about doin' it now , he adds with some hesitation. Would rather not be linked to a death in the town no matter the reasons. Maybe we slink back to our inn, heal up and then come back lookin' normal. The marksman 'ere , Gregor nods to Pyros in a...

Re: Demiplane of Dread OOC thread, the second.

The second list was originally attributed to Haldrake rather than Ledalar. Seems like knowing the true owner of the list would be helpful. Having an "assumed" room key for Ledalar we might be able to determine if the list came from his room or another's. I didn't find any information on th...

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Do the clothes disappear with 'em wit the change? , Gregor asks quietly as they haul the corpse into the brush and hide it. Seems more magic than wereing if'n so , he mutters with a questioning look on his face. Is there no way to tell 'em apart when they're not a beast? And no fiddle - how was it ...

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Gregor slides the iron short sword through the dead bartender's chest for good measure. My, weren't we feelin' a bit pissy , he snickers coarsely. Glancing around quickly to see if the commotion has gathered any onlookers, he draws the small weapon quickly over the corpse, cleaning it as best he can...

Gregor's base attack with short sword: [1d20]=12

Would like a back/sneak attack but depends on what transpires with the beast. He'll use the withdraw maneuver if the beast attacks him to allow Pyros and Mira clean shots.

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

Gregor tosses the lit torch directly into the spongy mass of the webs watching as they erupt into flame to engulf (and free) the beastman. Ensuring he is out of both Pyros' and Mira's line of sight to the beast as much as possible, he readies the borrowed short sword to attack their foe as it exits ...

Re: Act 3 Scene 1: Arrivals and Leavetakings

So we's got a bit of time , Gregor rasps in common. Mira, pass me something to light that web-thing up and get this flask ready to hit him. We should be able to put sum burn on 'em. Pyros can hit him with the iron and I'll hit him more when he's full out. Switching to elven, Gregor cackles ominousl...

Re: Gregor Malvein (Gregor) - Private Thread

Does it appear possible to douse the beastman with oil so the combined effects of the burning oil and burning web can be utilized before/as he escapes the webbing? If so, Gregor will attempt to oil it up and call for Mira to light a touch. Do we know if these things regenerate at an above average ra...
