Re: home brew of the forge
Sooner or later PCs will get killed by lucky "needs natural 100 on d100 to hit.".. Not exactly what I mean. But this is why I asked for your opinion. To help you, here are some clarifacations. 1. Everything is still on a d20, just you take debuffs to hitting when doing more complex maneuv...

The home-brew rules
1. Rewarding creativity.
If you describe your combat maneuvers, you can deal extra damage. Don't go too crazy though, or else you may find yourself with having to roll a 50 to hit.
That's the only rule for now, post your thoughts!

Re: The Forge-OOC Chat
Hello, I am silver54clay, or as I prefer to be called, DM.
Yes, that was extremely pompous on purpose. That's not what I actually like to be called.
Call me Xanaver, or Xan for short.
I have a few homebrew rules I will post in the homebrew thread, & have a vote on them shortly.

Do you have a limit on your scores? It does soung like fun.Jenara wrote:Oh thats me going off on a Tangent.. Normal PCs but with the scores chosen, rather than rolled. So a sort of point buy.

Re: Dice Rolss
Would that mean using point buy?Or do you mean something else entirely? If you do, could you please explain what you mean?Jenara wrote:A few of us are trying something different which is to develop characters beyond the dice, yes they are a nice framework, but who are they as people? Thats fun.
