Re: WotL OOC Thread III

Dear everyone. The short version is that I've had a fire in my apartment and am now staying between friends places. So I have to cancel everything DND wise with immediate effect. Sorry for the upset bit I hope you understand given the circumstances. All the best, Matt.

Re: OOC Thread

No it's fine, both people and characters can make mistakes and then realise how to correct them. Also the names are confusingly similar

Re: Chapter 1, Landing at Port Collins

The horse's ears had been pricked forward listening silently. As soon as Jason says his order, the horse's head ducks below the bar. A about half a minute later, the head returs into sight clutching another large tankars of ale in its mouth. The group of ladies and Caavus really appreciate Sorin's s...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

Gregeddin quits his display at Tethys' offer, and sits back down silently to contemplate this deal Tethys' wants. "I may need some time to consider this..." he replies trailing off into thought. Some way where other people aren't getting killed must be possible to find... I like Karn the b...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

Gregeddin ponders Tethys' words for a few moments, before thinking aloud, "Hypnotise the Perfect, he signs some papers lowering the taxes, hopefully doesn't notice what's going on, I go back to the guild with good news, and, maybe you don't notice until the next accounts come in. That seems lik...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

Gregeddin would feel exposed at Tethy's gaze, if he had things to hide and was being deceitful. But the Prefect's gaze did little to unsettle the bard, "I wouldn't use the word 'idiot', but I unfortunately have no knowledge of any buildings on fire." Speaking frankly, but then changing to ...

Re: Chapter 1, Landing at Port Collins

Mearn heads back to the Manor House, following the dirt path (gap between the tents littered all over the place) West. Once again entering through the grand doorway, he spots again Miss Freya in exactly the same spot, still scribing away with her quill behind the reception desk. She does not show an...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

Gregeddin listens to Tethys' clarification, already his heart was dropping since he imagined the Prefect wasn't going to like the answers. He tries to speak as clearly and concisely as possible. "I am currently working alone, previous "employers" as it were, include the church, Magnus...

Re: Chapter 1, Landing at Port Collins

A few chickens come around to inspect Rose 's hand, idly clucking and moving around. "I've no idea or proof of the perils these poor birds face, but I have a feeling, and at my age, I trust my feelings." Mr Wilson replies heavy heartedly. "I've been watching these chickens every night...

Re: Chapter 1, Landing at Port Collins

The lady smiles back at Jason and answers in her kind voice, "There's no harm done. I bear very few grudges or hard feelings." She offers a slim and pretty hand, that is if hands can be called pretty things. "Hampshire, Translator. I picked up a fair few things along the way." Ar...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

"What exactly are you looking for my cooperation with?" The bard answers, "May I be so indulgent to ask you to explain clearly what you seek from me. My lack of foresight is apparently accompanied with me missing your motive." After a moment the bard bursts out aloud, "Wait....

Re: Chapter 1, Landing at Port Collins

"School?!" The lady replies in a incredulous but lighthearted chuckle "Oh no no. While that's a nice thought we don't have that many children here. Think we might be up to about seven with our newest arrivals. In any case we don't have a school here, yet. I think they spend their tim...

Re: CH. 10: Hard Choices

The bard shakes the chains bound around his wrists to show there could obviously be no trouble here. Then again he did just bend the bars of his last cell. Letting Tethys enjoy his moment, Gregeddin waits before replying. "Indeed. You probably like them a lot more than you do me right about now...
