Fortunately Esse killed the rutterkin before I had the opportunity to post because in an attempt to not appear weak, Ag (I guess thats his nickname now) would have gone ahead with an attack, even partially blinded...

Ag, now knowing that he struck the beast and knocked it back (/ooc I assume he could feel it withdraw from his sword a bit /ooc) will now advance and attack with great confidence, again raising his sword and bringing it in a downwards motion. With this he will also again let out his fierce battle cry.

Ag will now move to protect the injured and weaponless cleric, stepping between him and the advancing rutterkin if possible. "Back ye vile beast!" He will swing his sword at the creature in any way he can to avoid hitting any of his new found companions.

If Ayagnox is able to recover his sword quickly enough to still attack the rattler, he will do so and swing at the rattlers face, if not he will jump at the snake, clawing at the eyes as instructed.
