Description
The Star of the Morning was the first and most beautiful creature to step out of the primoridial ooze. He was the first of the Crown Archons and spent most of his "infancy" creating the multiverse, he is credited with the creation of all the upper planes. After the other Crown Archons started to create themselves, he quickly became jealous. Not used to being around others, even though they were of the same species, he turned against the others over the course of a few millenia. After subterfuge, and open hostility, the Star of the Morning declared war on his brethen, causing the creation of the other forms of aasimon, to fight for each side of the cival war. Soon all the upper planes were alive with death. Angel killing angel, brother killing brother, open brutal conflict that ripped the heavens apart. Splitting them into the great wheel. Through horrendous combat and extreme acts of violence, the Star of the Morning was chained and thrown from the heavens, from which he plummeted for centuries to finally smash into Baator splintering it into the Nine Hells. All the warriors of Lucifer, were tossed out along with him to never see the blessed Mount Celestia again. After millenia of the environment of Baator slowly twisted the beautiful creations of Lucifer into baatezu. The devil as all primes tend to call him appears in many forms, his truest is that of a brilliant blonde haired human male of bronzed skin of unbelievable beauty, with wings of silver blue feathers. Most primes tend to think of him as a large red skinned, spade tailed, horned, fork-tongued and pitchfork wielding humanoid. Which the only truth is he likes to use a pitch fork as a weapon.
Combat
The Star of the Morning is quick to anger and even quicker to violence. His touch causes death to all creatures of 10 HD or less, no save. Any creature of higher than 10 HD is inflicted with horrible spasms and 10d10 hit points of damage. He can attack up to 10 different creatures per round at any distance within one mile. He uses a very distinct version of teleprort without error, to transport himself and make a special attack up to twice per phase (if Combat and Tactics is used). He also has a variety of special attacks, he can use in any combination that he chooses. The first of which is a plague breath. By a quick exhalation, he can effect all creatures even those immune to natural and magical diseases. Any creature within a 100 yard radius of Lucifer, must save at -5 or be stricken by a horrible rotting disease. Within 2 rounds, all flesh peels off in layers and bones pyosisify into a gelatinous slop. With a simple innate reflex of the Morningstar's mind he can cause any creature of any level, except those of Intermediate God status or higher, to have their innards explode in violent flaming death. He can only use this power once a day, and only when he wants a little laugher. With a simple smile and wink of his eye he can cause a mass energy drain on all creatures by gaze. He has special form of magic resistance, basically all magic casts by mortals simply does not work in his presence. Those of immortal status lose half their casting level while near him. And he has a 100% to magic cast by dieties of less than intermediate status or less. He is 50% immune to spells cast by Greater Powers. Any creature with no sense, can try to attack him physically, of which is is not immune. Weapons must be blessed by a Archonite high priest of at least 20th level, made of the purest silver, and enchanted to at least +5. Which is a difficult thing indeed, since the blade must be made in Baator. When the mood strikes him he summons his pitch fork, their is nothing special about this item, he just like to use it for show. It does1d6 points of damage and he likes to torture victims by peeling their skin back with it, while they watch, through eyes he usually pulls out and puts on shelf.
Habitat/Society
The Star of the Morning is the absolute ruler of Baator, ruling with an absolute iron fist. No creature in all of the Nine Hells will cross his word, for fear of his wrath. He survives off the fear he creates in all others below him. He believes that nothing or no one is near to his equal. He was once summoned by the Abyssal King Samhain and refused, starting the Blood War. Over a simple slight in protocol, millions of creatures have been slaughtered. He refuses all proxies of every power, even thoses who live within his Realms. Those who actually see his evilness are never the same afterwards. Most of the insanity throughout the multiverse, is in direct relation to viewing his visage.
Ecology
This unholy creature survives on fear created either in his endless wars, or by all his creations. He enjoys the maliciousness of his creations. Laughs at those below him and literally loves the taste of fear in the eyes of his victims, and the victims of his creatures. He lives in the minds of all all of the baatezu, and savors the last fleeting essense of their victims.
